It really is a hobby for me. Some people like looking at Facebook. I like looking at vehicle market trends. I am in the midst of starting a part time business as an auto broker. Took my dealer licensing course a couple weeks ago mainly for informational purposes.

I purchased mine from Longo Toyota a month ago, same options except the 4x4 and mine was Sport. My total price was $38,031.00
Got them to knock off $1k, so $37k + TTL = $40,600.00 OTD

Make sure they actually have the LED fog lights too, mine said the same "LED Daytime Running Lights and Fog Lights" but they were halogen fogs.

As long as there aren't any markups or "market adjustment", would be an okay deal for the current So Cal market IMO. Good luck!

I've been watching their new & used Tacoma inventory ~2-3x/wk and they have maintained 10-15 used & 1-2 new. Additionally, they've had a 3rd gen SR5 DCLB & 3rd gen DCLB OR on their lot for a 3+ weeks now. That said, who knows how often they actually update the website. Had been considering trading my '17 SR5 DCLB when my allocation arrives since they're paying good money for trades plus saves a bit of headache dealing with tire kickers. But with an essentially identical truck as mine "languishing" on the lot, I'm less inclined to think I'd get a good offer. Though, wife was offered 3k OVER kbb trade-in for her '14 Rav back in Feb from this dealer.

It is to the point that buying used makes no sense in a lot of cases. I would not buy used right now because when this does go back to normal you will be upset for paying so much.

The really greedy dealers will eventually end up losing money once things start to stabilize with supplies and they realize they have a bunch of used cars that they over payed on and are asking top $ for without any buyers.

Again, maybe there are some deals out there for used, but for the most part it seems like buying new at this minute is a better deal depending on what you are getting. If you are getting a pro, msrp will be solid. If you are getting lesser trims I think 3-4k below would be solid.

I don't think anyone is getting 3-4k below MSRP right now. If you know different, please let me know what dealership and salesman as I'll hop a flight anywhere in the country right now for 3-4k off.

Let me phrase "solid" differently. If you can get 3-4k off a lesser trim you are doing excellent right now, and msrp for a pro would be excellent. I may not know about the other trim deals, but I think some people here have gotten close to 3k or 2k off.

Not sure if you've tried any quotes from Vroom or Carmax, but for my 2019 they're still offering a stupid amount. Vroom has been a bit higher than Carmax, and at least Carmax has a physical location in South Portland (not sure where you're at). Might end up in roughly the same place compared to dealer trade value plus tax savings, and no tire kickers!

Hi Guys, I’m wondering if msrp on a DCSB 4X4 TRD OR is acceptable with 0%/48 financing?

I’ve attached the build in file below:

what was the previous discount attainable on a similar build pre COVID/ecu shortage?

    TIA

Just picked up my Cement Double Cab TRD Off Road MT (with LED headlights, Tech package, Floor mats) from Autonation Hayward. MSRP was $38,388. Costco pricing brought it down by $700, so 1.8% off MSRP. $41,831 OTD.

Here in LV the TRD Sport and Offroad are in the 40Ks region with a 2K markup (high demand low quantity, econ 101),
and the TRD Pro is in the $50s! Ridic

2021 Black Tacoma SR5 Double Cab Trail Edition. $40,813 sticker ($35,305 MSRP). Parking Sonar and Premium Audio $1,710, Trail Edition $1775 (waist as I am removing the storage boxes), Tech Package $600 were the add ons. I'm in Denver and it was on the lot, so no waiting (why I took the Trail edition).
