Do these come with a different MC too? Might need some help pushing all that extra fluid.

Interesting. So my stock front brakes are perfect! :D Does Wilwood want you to get matching rear brakes as well to help with bias?

Some other company makes one; but really not worth the premium. It’s more expensive than the fronts were.

@SearArtist That's fair and this might be a poor comparison, but I can tell you that these GX460 calipers have been the single most frustrating change I've made to my truck. The theory is that my stock MC can't push enough fluid for the larger diameter pistons. So I have an incredibly mushy pedal, and long travel. I've actually had to slide my seat forward a few clicks. I'd just hate to see you get into the headache I have now. It sounds like they have it figured out though. Keep us posted.

the Wilwood actually has about the same piston area (I think that’s the correct term) as the stock 470 brakes, so while yes it is 6 piston they are smaller and the surface area of the pads is almost identical to the stock 470 pads.

He doesn’t go fast enough to need brakes no ways, so he can slow down just by dragging his hand out the window!

I know the price is high on this one, but if you wanted a nearly mint GX, this would be it.

Keep in mind I said truck. I'm not sure if it would be a bad swap in your GX or not.
Yes, my 1st gen and yes it has a vacuum booster. I'm probably going to have to rip these off and go back down in size to 13WL calipers. I've spent over $600 so far on this setup so it's been a giant waste of money.

That’s a bummer. I haven’t really heard of anyone who has at least done it on a GX have any major complaints. I’ve seen issues with people using some cheapo calipers but otherwise seemed like an adequate upgrade in stopping power for 470 owners. With 285s the stock brakes are “ok” with it being an electronic booster. But whenever I end up replacing rotors/pads I’ll probably do the 460 calipers at the same time and see how it goes.

Frankly 460 fronts would have been plenty, but I have the means so why not. Buy nice or buy twice.
