Installed the R4T tailgate lock, took about an hour, nice addition since my ARE Z series cap has key fob lock as well. No need for that silly key.

Never know when your going to need to improvise... I didnt have a fire extinguisher when this happend, but I had a garden sprayer full of water (spray sand off the kids feet before getting back into the truck). Now I have a real fire extinguisher in the truck though.

Not sure how well a fire extinguisher would of worked on this fire, the exhaust heated up the shocks red hot causing them to burst and the oil ignited. Everytime I put out the fire, it relit because the metal was so hot. Finally got it cooled down enough where it didnt keep lighting.

The silver plate in the back there, is that something you bought/made or did it come in the truck?
I'm trying to figure out a way to mount a custom fuse box and this might be the solution.

Got my 10mm driver out and decided it was finally time to remove the front air Dam thing. Think it definitely looks better with out.. I put the screws back in the bumper so they don't get lost. Not sure what most do with them.

Bigger plans coming this week. The 245 all season tires are getting replaced with 265/75 Cooper discoverer on Friday. Hopefully I can sell the OE tires for $150-200 on marketplace.

Very nice setup. Those Yakima flyrod holders are impossible to find, now. I just ordered the River quiver for mine, today. tight lines.

Yeah it is in the same location as a pro grill. I guess it will help when I lift the truck a couple of inches. I wanted a pro grill but came across that one on here. I can’t remember who posted it but I really liked it and decided it is much cheaper than the OEM pro so why not.
I agree with what a bunch of folks have said....this website makes me spend a bunch of money I think it’s like when my wife goes into a Hobby Lobby.

I like the grill... I have a Pro grill but it is a replica and it looks EXACTLY like the Pro at a fraction of the cost.

Nothing too crazy, but yellow tint successfully applied to fogs. This will tie me over till I can stomach the 350 dollar price tag for the rigids.

Wasn't an intentional modification to my truck, but lost my passenger side fender liner after hitting the trails with some friends.

Well we played with a Hyundai sedan tonight. The scenario we used was an engine compartment fire with the hood down. This is typically what we have on arrival. This vehicle’s design does not allow easy access to the engine compartment with the hood down. Based on the how the Element 50 did, it seemed to just piss off the fire. It also appears to be exothermic when in operation. I put it against the gap between the headlight and the hood and it started to melt the headlight plastic. Mind you as per protocol, I was wearing full structural gear and SCBA, so I was able to get closer than someone in plain street clothes. The car was still burning, so we went to the dry chem and that couldn’t completely extinguish the fire. The hose line had to be used finally to extinguish the fire. Of course the hood had to be forced open with a pry tool to completely put out the fire. It was an interesting test. I’ll post a link once my son has the video finished. Now if the vehicle design allows you to access the engine compartment with the hood down, you may have a chance, but I would go with a 100 vice 50. I don’t plan on buying another one. My chief was not impressed either.
