I'm using this thread mostly for my own organization and sanity. Also as a means to communicate with those of you who have work in my queue all at once (subscribe to this thread if you like) vs managing a bunch of DM's where I can easily miss one or two.

As time permits I will take on new work. At this point in time I am not accepting new requests. I'd like to keep the active project list under 5 which is where it is right now. I have 2-3h max per night to spend on this.

List of projects in the hopper (note the terminology, there is no guarantee on timeline or completion order for any of this work though I promise to do my best and always respond to inquiries).

    Active:
    • DRL light bar / light pod custom harness for custom switch with DRL tap (LED or Halogen) and deutsch output (round or triangle). For @ljh824 and possibly @Zumozuzu7 and/or @stay_tuned .
      • Status: 95% complete, waiting on final mini SPDT relay.
    • Switch-Pros trigger feeds and grille light tap for @ktbell444 .
      • Status: On hold until details on v5 switchbacks are confirmed since @ktbell444 has non-MESO puddle pods.
    • H9 T harness for @a2lowvw
      • Status: waiting for final design, ball in my court to draw something up for peer review
    • Custom Bed Light T harness for @crashnburn80 ? Sure would be cool to make a contribution to the supercharged Gladiator
      • Status: Pending receipt of the MOPAR harness so I can attempt to identify the connector style
    • 2nd Gen DIR for @tkimbar2611
    • Custom crimped connectors for Pioneer head unit for @JJD92.
    • Cargo Light illumination T and male auto headlight harnesses for @RyanDCLB

    • Speaker injection for @corgidaddy to inject aftermarket amplifier speaker signal into the OEM door speaker harness for a JBL system.
    • 2019 style surface mount OEM bed light to 2020+ OEM bed light adapter harness for @Khoadattran

I'll keep this first post up to date on current stuff and as I finish things I'll add a post describing it with some photos.

Pricing we can hopefully figure out once ready to ship, I'm just doing this for fun and the satisfaction of solving a problem and helping people out. I think I'd like to do this as a minimum cost for parts and shipping and an optional tip for labor which could be sent upon receipt.

Count on several pages of DM's to work through the details and at least a few weeks of lead time before anything is ready to ship.

Dave, apologies. Had to go out of town at the last minute. Wife dropped the box off today to ship. I was able to identify which relay belongs to the LED and the DRL. I marked them appropriately with a silver sharpie. Really can’t thank you enough for figuring this out. I’m in the field training so I’ll be on and off the net for the next few days. Standing by for whatever else you need on this end. Lou

I’m interested in the SwitchPros trigger feeds. Just longer wires?

I don't think @ktbell444 has completely decided yet but the idea as I see it for them is

    1. DRL, Parking Light, High Beam and Ground tap (he has LED headlights but this could be done for halogen just the same)
    2. Output for grille lights feeding 2 pin amp female with included solderless butt connectors and heat shrink to feed rapture lights (same as my OEM LED headlight conversion)
    3. Either one of the below to feed the Switch-Pros white and pink wires via solderless butt connectors
      1. Three pin amp with high beam, parking light and DRL
      2. Two pin amp with high beam and parking light
Unfortunately I have no help for an ignition tap right now, nothing that I know if is plug and play for the light blue wire :(

Waiting to hear back from the other person still.
I did send the message though.

Ignition would be nice. If I can find a way to remove the fuse box in the engine compartment, I could give that tap a try that you mentioned to me in our conversation.

So, are you all set with the info or did you want to get in on the DRL harness I'm intending to build?

Thanks @daveeasa But I think I am all set with my current configuration. I just need to sort out the backlighting on my switch and I will be happy.

    Shipped out this weekend:

    2nd Gen DIR prototype
    Grille light harness

I have received all of the parts I had been waiting on and even received my bulk relay connector order which I placed several months ago. So now it’s time to get to work.

However, I am helping my brother in law haul 9 horses to Seattle, returning late Wednesday evening. So the next few days will see no action.

@Puppypunter , would you perhaps delight in the analysis for this one? I think someone else asked for this as well and we were unsure on some things? Was it discussion in the idea hole? I can’t remember if we settled on a design.

In general I think the idea is, we hash out the design in the idea hole and when we know what it is we need to build then I track status here. Mostly because I much prefer to build something which has gone through peer review than any hair brained off-the-cuff guesses. Discussion will be more productive in Johnny’s thread.

Got @JJD92 ’s harness ready to go. In retrospect I probably ought to have arranged the pin outs slightly differently to put the 3 extra leads for power, ground and remote turn all together.
