Just email Joe! Powder coating is what’s holding up all the orders. I contacted him on sat with a similar request and he shipped out on Monday. My product is coming in on Thursday and I’m getting the PC done locally. He also promptly refunded the PC cost.

I'm starting to think this is the way. I just learned of a power coating place here locally that I didn't know about. I'm going to call them tomorrow and see what their lead time is. Apparently other shops in the region are months behind due to their own supply chain issues on the materials needed to PC pieces.

Lol I’ll bet you money you won’t get through by phone. The only communication method that’s worked for me is email.

LOL Oh I know that! I'm going to call the local PC shop to see if they're just as backed up, and can handle a job as big as a swingout bumper.

Time to invest in a pc booth. Gotta spend money to make money. I’ll assume their product is good because of the willingness of you guys to wait 6 months for product. Being a business owner myself I’d never let my business suffer because the lack of another’s not being able to keep up or poor management.

Hmmm!! I just looked up baking booths and pc gun systems that would be perfect for doing bumpers, sliders and truck stuff. May have to think about this.

Trust me, I have numerous times. Got an email response from him in late March when I got the last update. He also got back to me here on this thread in late April. Since then any attempts made by email or voicemail go unanswered.

I'm glad you were given that option. I would take it if I could simply get a response.

I recommend emailing both Joe and the general inbox.
I spoke to him on 05/22 so he’s around.

Thanks but I've already done just that. I started a new message today just to try and get to the top of the inbox again. Still patiently waiting on a response by email, maybe Saturday is the day to catch him. I've yet to receive any replies from the Team alias. After trying the Team for months, I emailed Joe direct and got a response but that was 3/23. Joe is the only one that has ever responded, the last time being here at TW 4/22. Bro needs help I get it.

While I know it's not everyone's aesthetic, it's more useful for my application of actually intending to beat it up a bit - bedliner. Some sandpaper and a wire wheel for prep, some urethane primer and two bottles of raptor. Two coats and a thick build up on the front, and I'll finally be able to mount it in a week once it full cures. Faster than waiting even more, and maybe $150 all in.

The primer goes on like normal paint and gets really good coverage and penetration into the corners, even in the smaller spaces. Then the liner itself goes on thick and seals the whole thing up. I put on one coat of the liner, hit it with a bright light to make sure I had full coverage, and then put on another coat. One of the reasons I went with bed liner is I can just paint on more if I find any areas I missed (which I honestly really doubt with how thick this stuff goes on) or if I gouge it up on the trails. It'll be easier to wire wheel out a gouge, degrease, and just paint in some more filler bedliner, since it adheres to itself pretty well.

And it'll dry a bit more matte/semigloss than it currently is. This was five minutes after the second coat went down.

This is the way after giving it thought during my wait time. Is that the Low Profile bumper from Mobtown?

I think that's on my list but I don't want to cut the front bumper if I can avoid it.

Yeah, this is the low pro. And I was in the same boat not really wanting to cut the bumper, but there really aren't any good options out there for a winch bumper without at least a bit of trimming. At least nothing I saw that I liked at all.

And I can replace the lower portion of the bumper that you trim for ~$250 if I want to change it back for some reason. Seeing as how I dropped a couple grand on the bumper, coating, winch, and lightbar, what's $250 more if I want to put it back?

Well, next little hiccup. Went to mount a winch before putting the bumper on and the mounting holes were cut 9.75" on center instead of 10" like normal. Nothing huge, but enough to throw it off, and now I've got to take a file to them and open them up a bit to mount up the winch. And yes, I cleaned up the mounting holes after I sprayed it down with the liner. Hoping everything else is to spec so I don't cut up the bumper and then find something else...

Hey @Mobtown Offroad Thursday I sent an email about the possibility of shipping me my bumper raw and refunding me the price of the powder coating. Thoughts? Order #15592

Just sent another follow up email asking about getting my bumper bare and being refunded the cost of powder coating. My last email from 5/28 is still unanswered. I'm trying really hard to remain patient and understanding, but a week and a half of no communication when I've already fronted a significant amount of money is getting old. I know Joe has requested all communication via email in the past, but sadly it seems like the only way to get a response is to tag him here. Can I please get some input from someone at Mobtown?

Hey. I will reach Joe directly and get it taken care of. Any chance you know your order number? Or you can PM me your name and I’ll track it down.
