    Looking good,

I agree on the spacer/ball joint issue. I have a 1.5 inch spacer for a total 3 inch lift. I have not swapped UCA yet. The ball joint is definitely not working like it should be. The range of motion of the ball joint is reduced significantly with our arms having to reach further down to connect to the knuckle.

Just a thought. My 1 for the week:)

Remove the spacer / get aftermarket UCA's unless you want it to happen again.

Also anyone want to bet that the main UCA bolt, and both LCA bolts were tightened fully when at full droop? This is no bueno for bonded rubber bushings at those locations.

Hope not for the OP's sake. In post #39 there is a floor jack under the LCA so it looks like they may have been torqued at ride height.

@Tacojustin1989, as others have said, that lift is going to likely lead to the same issue again for you. Your ball joints are the limiting factor in your droop now. You should probably either replace them or get limit straps if you're going to wheel.

How many miles on that since installing the spacer lift?

I’m not advocating that anyone run a spacer lift, however mine has been on for around 100k miles with no issues. I’m not going to pretend they don’t cause strain on the suspension, but if you do routine maintenance or at least inspect your truck then it will alleviate a lot of headache down the road (pun intended).

My UCA ball joints failed and looked the same (rusted, dry) and they were aftermarket SPCs, I got their new model which has a zerk fitting on the ball joint and hope the issue doesn't happen again

Incorrect. Tire is not connected to the car, since the spindle and hub fell off along with the tire. Therefore the tire fell off the car as well. Logic. Lol

Stock UCA without a spacer lift will go for the 300+k miles. Again your spacer lift led to the failed ball joint as the the upper ball joint is now your limiting factor when the suspension goes close to full droop.

Nope, only a 1 inch block in the rear.
I have a spacer lift for sale, 3 and 2, but no. Never ran it, it was in the box of parts I purchased from another member.
