I’m guessing that’s a big “no” on any actually experience with a Tesla vehicle?

First of all I think you misquoted someone.

Second, you think Saturn was a more successful new car company than Tesla? Is that correct?

Several coworkers have them. One in particular had to wait 3 months to repair - because the door handles stopped working. You don't need experience in scientology to know its a cult.

I'm not a huge Musk fan but the car market is really hard to break into. I can't think of any other manufacturer that has been able to do it as successfully as Tesla in the last 20, shit 50, years.

Saturn was GM. Hard to call that a new car company...

You've never driven one and your gauge on an entire car company is door handles? That's some superficial unintelligent thinking.

Several guys had their trucks parked for months when the leaky rear end fiasco was going on.

    Glass houses and all...

True but apples/oranges. How many new ICE cars spend 3 months for door handle repair? When was the last time that happened to you in a car?

Never, but to be fair, I had to take my truck in for a new fuel pump and I'm pretty sure a Tesla owner will never have that issue. Or my leaking rear diff.

Point being is we can play this game all day lol.

No. I just have a different time horizon/outlook on what I would consider success. There is too much fuckery going on w them and Musky for me to want anything to do with them. In 5 years or so when the rust reclaims my Taco there will be an entire ecosystem of evs out there for me to look at that exist. The cyber truck will be a bad memory and cautionary tale after Burry reaps his short profit raping Musks bunghole.

Somewhere in the world a Toyota has spent 3 months at a dealer for warranty work.

Who cares about Burry whomever he is. The Cybertruck has 1 million reservations. You just don't like Musk and giving credit where credit is due. Musk is successful and you're jealous.

Im also curious to see how those Tesla batteries hold up when the cooling systems begin to degrade overtime. There are some federal safety probes ongoing into these but supposedly its been fixed and yes Im aware that all manufactures do this kind of crap. Im sure we will have plenty of garage incinerations from ford too.
He is the guy who shorted the fuckery behind the housing/mortgage bubble while morons were proclaiming it was going to go to the moon forever. Just made a $500+ M short bet against Tesla. After setting up the GME short squeeze. He is quite a bit smarter than Musk and has a good track record of these types of moves.

Took a look at the F150 door latch problems. I'm sure it's impacted way more cars than the Tesla one and has been going on for years. Some people have had their trucks lemoned because of it.

I’m assuming this colleague didn’t immediately sell his Tesla when this happened and has been telling you how much he loves it every day since he got it back and since it’s impossible to love a car that much you have declared him a cult member?
