    It's at ~98% completion.
The main reason I never got an aluminum shifter was the heat. I grabbed one in s2k on a 100*+ day and decided I'll never have to worry about that problem again haha.
This allows the weight of an aluminum shifter without the worry of grabbing something hot.. I mean unless you're into that kinda thing
    Same width as OEM; ~1.75in

    OEM shifter weight: 82g
    Min Weight: ~110g
    Max Weight: ~235g

    -Adjustable Weight
    -Adjustable Height
    -Adjustable Direction
    -Adjustable Width(with future/custom faceplates)
    -PolyCarbonate Carbon Fiber.

The screws in the back(facing the seat) were removed. They were only there for aesthetics anyway and I decided I didn't like them all that much. The one on the top may be removed as well. Everything else is pretty much the final for this version.

Really I've tried to make this as modular and customizable as possible. It's kind of my thing when I design products.

    Dropping various photos :)
Some of these are different versions throughout my prototyping stage. The faceplate with the skinnier accents will be the final for this faceplate version but will have a different finish.

I'm a big fan of this design. How does it feel in hand?

I really like it. It's interesting because it's weighted, but yet the CF has a really nice texture to it. I have rings and carabiners in the same CF, I just really like the way it feels lol. I updated that post too because I forgot to say it was about the same width as OEM. That can be changed with faceplates though and it's easy enough to do custom ones if someone needed.

I need to get ahold of one and look at it. I've never even sat in an auto 1st gen.. don't the automatics have an OD button?

You wouldn't be interested in a smaller, matching version for the 4wd shifter instead? I just feel like having the identical sized ones on the main and 4wd shifter would be awkward.. maybe not haha.

PS These will be around $60

Definitely interested in a manual and the 4WD! I think you're right in having a smaller one for the 4WD but not positive

I think they share the same threads.. tbh I have never taken off my 4wd. I wasn't initially going to make a 4wd one, but it kind of doesn't make sense to NOT have a matching one available.. especially when I first reach down to engage my 4wd and my OCD hits haha.

Hey, thanks man! I'm happy with how this came out! I just need to look up the bolt pattern for 2nd gens(not sure if they are matching 1st gens) and then these will be available for them as well!

@sk8rjess I have an auto shifter handle if you want to look at it? Yes they do have a provision for the O/D button and push down button on top to allow it to go through the notches
