This is fine since you don't have your leaves constantly resting on tailpipe,
and that's way better than people shooting hot exhaust at hangers and shackles, while driving 70mph on the highway.

I wish people would stop chopping the tailpipe super high up, unless you really need to and properly aim the exhaust

What’s your concern with that? You think it’ll be hot enough to cook the bushing? From the tip of the exhaust being minimum 12” away, not aimed directly at the hanger? I have my doubts lol

Happens a lot, poly bushings only can stand 160-180 degrees. People melt them, I have to rush them out.
For some people, trimming exhaust is completely unnecessary

I just got my truck back. I think the picture was misleading. My leafs barely touch the exhaust. Will post pictures in a bit

People don't realize the exhaust is 5-600 degrees, and a large volume of gas.

Did you know in an hour of driving, a 4.0 v6 might ingest 40,000 gallons of air on the highway.

    2,500 revolutions per minute x 60 mins = 150,000 revolutions per hour.
4.0L(1 gal) every 2 revs at full throttle is approaching 75,000 gals
Even if engine is only filling 1/2 of each cylinder to, that's still 37,000 gals of air we could breathe. For an NA engine.

Times 1 billion vehicles for regd for road use
Plus planes, cargo ships, race cars, boats, lawn mowers in the world, that is a lot of heat. Think about your impact

In 1 hour, a person might breathe 100 gallons

Careful, the government might ask us to start breathing less if they know that

Are those poly bushings? His shackle doesnt look flat, but could be the pic angle. My shackle looks to get more droop?

Hey Eric, My shock relocation is going in next week. With the power prime you put on there, do I need to coat these up with some additional VHT or something before welding them in?

Perfect, thanks. The coating was so nice, felt more like a finish coat.

So I have my relocation mount and shocks on order. I'm going with 12" King 2.5 with remote resi and adjusters. Shocks are still more then 4 weeks out but since everything these days is back ordered for weeks, I want to start ordering the rest of the parts so everything is here when the shocks arrive. @ARCHIVE or anyone with install experience can chime in.

For some context in case is needed for some answers below, my current rear setup is: Deavers Stage 3, AG hammer hangers, shackles and cross bar.

    Here are my questions.

    1. Spacers: I'm running 17x8.5 with 4.75" BS, paired with 295-70/17 tires. What size spacer should I be looking at?
Also, I'm thinking that if I run spacers in the rear, I should run spacers in front as well to keep everything somewhat balance. I don't want to add too much width in the front that might make the CMC to start rubbing again. Anyone added spacers in the front as well? If so, what size is adequate?

    2. Brake lines: I already have extended brake lines from when I got my lift, I believe they are +2". Based on some comments in this thread, it looks like I need to go longer. What's the length I'm looking for for the 12" shock? Also, any links to where to get the proper length?

    3. Limit straps: What length strap do I need for the 12" shock?

    4. Bump stops: I might be getting ahead of myself here and the install instructions might specify this but in case they do not, what's the proper way to set the bump stop height? For reference, I'm running Wheeler's U-bolt flip kit with wheelers super bumps.

I think that's all the info I need to start ordering the rest of the parts.

Any feedback is very much appreciated!
