Afternoon gents, been a long week already. Taking a break to watch mother nature give my truck a needed bath from the pollen and finishing off my cigar from this weekend.

 

Going to hawks pride Saturday. Wheeling and coming home Sunday if anyone else wants to come. Drew and I are going. Probably gonna ride with some jeepers as well

I've been eyeing the Gladiator w/ a diesel. Maybe they will be affordable in 4 yrs when Wyatt gets the keys to the Tacoma.

Also, I wish I could go this weekend, but we have graduation stuff going on. I'll be checking the gram on Saturday to see your adventures.

All good bud, thats more important than riding trails. We will try to get as much footage as possible but i usually forget lol

 

@JBTacoma whats the good trails at Hawks pride that a Tacoma could do? like rating 2.5-4 on their scale

I was looking at some of the broke foot trails as well rated at 3.5-4 i have all the requirements except for the recommended tire size (35) but dont mind hanging on skids or pulling cable. I was looking at it last night.

that’s pretty similar to a lot of the trails out there. It’s a fun rocky park. Was the first trip I did after I built my HC rear bumper and I laid the truck into a rock wall right on the side protection tube on the first trail of the day. Worked out nicely, lol.

jester has a couple tight spots and turns that make it a little more fun.

no bypasses on jester that I recall. But there are some around the park on other trails.

 

15.8 MPG pulling the camp trailer. Not too bad. I'm about 95% sure I'm about to buy some tires. I keep going back and forth b/t 255/80, 255/75, and 33x10.5.


Falken AT3W(e rated) 80's are $237 a tire
BFG KO2(c rated) 75's are $243 a tire
Kenda(e rated) 33x10.5 are $203 a tire

 

If you stay on the Green and blue you should be ok, the orange and red possible damage at any time.
