I am Castro Valley as well, If you need help let me know. I have regular hydraulic floor jack and it's always been more than enough to grease the UCA's. If you need to lift little bit higher, I usually put piece of 4x4 on top of the floor jack and raise it using the frame (safety 3rd).

There is a new 2021 manual transmission Tacoma available right now on the lot in Reno, Nevada (zip: 89502).
*** This is the last comment I'll make about it. ***

Here's the link to the truck page on the dealer's website:
    https://www.dolanrenotoyota.com/new...oma-Reno-571bfbab0a0e09a809881bcd44bfd1be.htm

If you're interested, I'm not exaggerating when I say you need to call immediately. They will take a refundable $500.00 deposit. Ideally, please ask for Dani, but if she's not instantly available, do what you gotta do - talk to anyone that will take your deposit. (In parallel, you can text my google voice and I'll give you Dani's cell number. I'd rather post my number than hers, but I'll give it to anyone who asks. She texts which is convenient. My google voice is 775 525 1878).

    2021-00.jpg

    Background
When the previous hold fell through Saturday evening, the sharks were circling and Dani called me and I threw a deposit on it instantly. My purchase from the 2nd Gen forums finalized Monday, so I posted that I was dropping out, and this afternoon I cancelled my deposit and dropped out; which is why it's available now.
It *will* get snatched up today; likely within hours, or maybe minutes once the other sales people find out I dropped. It would be nice if Dani can get this sale since she was lookin' out for me, but do what you gotta do, it's a shark tank over there.

    Price
Price-wise, they have it for $37,931. I've discussed probably 4 different trucks with them over the last 9 weeks and they've always been 100% "sticker price"; they won't entertain the notion of any discount, but they also didn't tack on markup because of the shortage. (I've seen markup stories on here about $2,000 - $5,000 dealer markups). So, basically, they have been fair so far.

Again, I'm not selling anything; I'm alerting TW there is a truck available. And this is the last time I'll comment about it, since I'm sure it won't make it through the rest of business hours today.

And that's why I'm super excited about my 2nd Gen on the way. But for someone looking for a manual 2021, they might be stoked.

Thanks for the offer. I think I found the source of the squeaking noise and it’s not the UCAs. I think it’s my brake line brackets. I’m going to try and fix it this weekend. If that’s not the solution, I’ll probably send you a PM

1997. The good 3rd gen. There's no traction control, nanny control, or any other BS. Even the T-case is J-shift. It just works.

So does my 1st gen tacoma with 360K on the clock. It cost me $500 and gets damn near the same gas mileage at the $35k 3rd gen. I'll trade you for that YJ. Disclaimer: The 1st gen is beat up but runs great. lol

I’ve got a 70th birthday trip coming up for my dad this summer but after that I’m thinking I want sell the Jeep and get into a first gen with mid travel.

Built just enough to do the rubicon/dusy but also enough to camp out of.

If I recall, your yr has to hack into the master brake wiring harness, dash will light up like a Chrismas tree when disabled.

Don’t get me wrong, I like my 3rd gen, but I doubt it’ll be running as well as my ‘90 does when it’s 30 years old.

Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
Is it bad that I am slightly intrigued by the Ford Lightning? Starting below the price of a decent Tacoma and well below the Tundra.
