Finally got the 2.0 coilovers put in this weekend as well as the SCS wheels I picked up. :D I got together with a couple of my marines that love working on rigs and was able to get all 4 corners done pretty quick. I will say that you DO NOT have to disconnect the upper control arm like most people end up doing. We got the tie rod out of the way as well as the sway bar and were able to wiggle out the stock coils and put in the new coils. After the instal I did adjust the coilovers down about a half inch since I don’t have anything in the rear yet. Super easy to adjust too, I just took a little PB blaster to help lube the threads and after a little convincing, the spring perch started turning.

I will reiterate what 99% of people on this thread have said. The ride is much firmer than stock but in a positive way. They absorb all the pot holes and curbs without being jarring and there is no more “bouncing” after hitting something. I love them so far and will definitely crank them back up once I have an inch in the rear. I will get an alignment this week. (Tracks perfect but I know the camber is still off a little bit.)

Does anyone get any groaning/creaking from their front coilovers?

I've retorqued and made sure everything was tight, but on low speed bumps (pulling in/out of driveway for example), I get some creaking from what sounds like the front springs. On bigger bumps I don't notice it. It's not terrible by any means, but I wasn't envisioning having a truck with creaky suspension unless that's "just how it is" with coilovers on a truck. I've had many sets of coilovers on cars and never had any noise.

You still have that "feeling"? I just swapped out my rear spring packs this weekend and it bumped a little higher and seem to that rhythmic type feeling cruising at lower speeds. I too have done the ECGS although no shims or other drop kits other than the sway bar. Thinking I might needs to get some angled shims although I should have some settling in the rear still.

I am going to put in the 1” eibach block at some point in the near future since I just got them today. I will let y’all know if I get the same feeling. It may be different being a manual transmission though. It shouldn’t really make a difference but as we have seen, EVERY truck is different lol

I hit some trails this weekend btw. Other than the creaky front coil overs the truck did great.

This is the first thread I have read start to finish LOL. Just ordered the 2.0 kit. I was debating on it last night when it said only 1 left in stock, woke up and it said sold out, and checked back earlier and it said 1 in stock LOL. So I ordered it and now I got my fingers crossed it’s truly in stock. Seem to be just the kit I was wanting. I’m just wanting like 1.5 upfront with a lil rake in the back to match up to my 265 ko2s, it’s not a rock bashing build, just long camping trips. The adjustability is what sold me on this set but the contribution from the eibach team in this thread is definitely reassuring me that I made the right choice. NOw hUrRY UP AND sHIp LOL !!!!

Ordered mine back when Eibach was having a sale and they will finally be here on June 1st. I only got the fronts as I already have fox 2.0 shocks in the rear. Gonna get them installed and roll around on some TRD off road wheels with 265/75/16 Toyo AT2s until I've got enough to get a set of 17x8 et-10 wheels wrapped in a 285/75/17 either Ridge Grapplers or toyo at3s cant decide and a PHAT Body mount chop/pinch weld clearance to make them fit.

    The setup will be

    Front
    Eibach 2.0
    Dirt king ball joint UCAs
    ECGS Bushing

    Rear
    Fox 2.0 Resi with adjustors
    1.5 AAL
Archive Garage U-bolt flip kit with their bumpstops
    Archive Garage Hammer Hangers
    Extended brake lines

I know this is kinda outside this threads scope but it’s worth a shot seeing what y’all have to say or if y’all could give me an alignment thread that’s active.

I know a lot of people try to get as much caster as they can but I’m not trying to squish massive tires in my wheel well. I just have 32s.

These are the specs an alignment shop got mine too but I feel like they could be better. I put the eibach coilovers in and right now it’s about 1.5” up in the front.

The Toe isn’t bad and the caster isn’t horrible but I feel like having .15 camber on one side and .93 on the other is kind of drastic. What do y’all think? Should I just ride it out and get another alignment when I lift the rear in a couple weeks?

Caster adjustment is more dependent on UCAs. Those numbers would bother my OCD though lol

Goal would try and get Toe : 0, Camber : 0 and Caster to 2-2.5.
Yeah the camber is what is bothering me. Even if it’s “within spec” I want them closer lol. Anyone know of a good place in SOCal in the Carlsbad/Oceanside area so I don’t waste my time on another “EH” alignment??

I got my shipping notification today. Shocks should be here Saturday and I want to get to swapping right away. Only problem is I still have not made my mind up on rear lift. I’m hoping to keep the front around 1.5” of lift to avoid uca issues and I want a slight bit of rake. Right now I’m on a small budget considering this is a temporary solution until later on down the road I can afford to swap in a complete leaf pack. What’s do you guys think 1” eibach block or a cheap Amazon 1.5” or 2” add-a-leaf? The truck currently has blue sumo springs installed that I want to keep installed, if that makes a difference.

Just installed mine last weekend. Left the fronts the way they came (right around 2”) and did a Deaver AAL from Headstrong which is just a little more money than the Amazon ones, but everything rides great. I also have the Sumo springs for towing and I have yet to get enough weight on the AAL to make contact with the Sumo. If I remember right the Deaver AAL adds 10% to your stock payload, but don’t quote me to that number.

And although it’s been said many times, I must agree with the ride quality that others say: Firmer, but in a good way. It soaks up bumps and eliminates most of the rebound felt in stock suspension. Only some dirt roads and trips to work so far, so haven’t really put it through the paces yet.

Got my front coils done last night. Probably wait to do the rear tomorrow when my blocks get here. Very easy install. I did begin to cross thread a sway bar bracket but I was able to retap it and it worked out. I may get some flack for this but I STRONGLY SUGGEST BUYING A TIE ROD END PULLER, I banged on that thing from every direction for over an hour and used every cuss word in my vocabulary. I finally broke down and bought one, $15.99 and it worked like butter. Ended up going with a block in the rear for easy install reasons considering they are temporary with the end goal of a full leaf pack in the near future. Exactly 2” up front but my plans only requires 1.5” up front.

How much did your coils settle after install before you made any final adjustments?
