Well ladies and gents... the deed is done.

I waited about 2 weeks on delivery, scouring this forum day in and day out, and today I finally was able to drive off with the new truck. 2011 TRD Sport double cab, long bed 4x4 in magnetic grey.

Just turned in a lease, this time purchased and couldnt be happier. The lease was a 2007 prerunner sr5 access cab. The difference is amazing, a lot bigger than I anticipated and it just feels right :) . Anyway, I'll post some pics when I get the chance, but you all already know what a stock truck looks like!

Congratulations! One thing I noticed when I recently went from an access cab to a double cab is the reduction in rattles. Those big door openings really let the cab flex a bit and it was squeaky as could be on rough roads. My double cab is uber-quiet.

I noticed the exact same thing! Just feels... sturdier if that makes any sense. Definitely a great feeling, glad the stress of buying is behind me.

Which dealer? I was looking in FL and the same truck with JBL/Bluetooth/TRD Floor Mats/Door Sill Protectos/VIP Alarm/Tow Package was 31,700 after taxes and fees. Is that close to what yours was after taxes and fees?

I was 31800 even after tax/tag/title. No JBL though :( lol. I also used the USAA service (was actually just going through your other thread). Originally I priced out a TRD Off Road with the short bed, and after further review and research decided on the TRD Sport LB.

Dealer was Lipton Toyota. All in all I am very pleased, not many dealers down here were willing to negotiate that low on the same truck, so I lucked out. Unfortunately had to wait a bit to get hands on!

Financing through USAA is also something you should look into, their interest rate is way lower than what Toyota is giving on the Tacoma.

I got my quote from Palm Beach Toyota without using USAA, but that does include a $1000 military rebate.

Sounds like we are getting about the same deal. I do think it is decent.

They would have to order mine for me and said no extra charge.

Those are beautiful pics of your new truck!! Enjoy it and thanks for the info! :)
