I’ve got the SkyTrack and love it. Played kiawah this morning. Pretty cool to play some of these courses we see on TV.

I’ve had friends play Bandon Dunes courses recently and won’t shut up about it. So it’s definitely on my list after my early retirement

Bandon has to be one of the most beautiful places on the Earth. Def on my list.

I decided to do a quick test on the stupidity of reddit users. Worked out about as I expected. I got one of my alt accounts banned from /r/superstonk for speaking against the narrative, and the other alt account I used to call out that account as a shill got a bunch of upvotes and a couple of awards.

Don't trust anything you read on the internet ;)

I'm a golf fiend as well. Played 36 holes today and 54 last weekend. I live in Oregon and have a few scheduled trips to Bandon this summer/fall.

Aside from that, there are over 25 courses in a 20 mile radius from my house. My wife and I usually play 3 rounds per week. Now that I say all this, I'm beginning to realize that I have a problem...

My favorite course around CO (that I’ve played so far) is Fossil Trace. Friggin gorgeous, and there are fossils in the wall of them there rocks.

I got in on ASTS a little after they went public with a "buy it and forget it until they do something" mindset. Not sure I'd say it's the future of the internet, but I could see it being the future of cell service.

For the most part, I view them as complementary to Starlink. People in the boonies can do their gaming and streaming at home with dishie mcflatface, and have their phone connected through ASTS when they wander away from home.

It looks like ASTS isn't planning on marketing direct to consumers. Rather, they'll market to cell providers as a means of filling in gaps in their coverage without having to build more towers. Consumer gets a plan with Vodaphone or someone and only has that one bill to worry about, and their service switches between ground towers and satellites without them noticing. As I understand it, 5g is going to have less range per tower, so having ASTS as an alternative to building more towers in not-so-dense usage areas could come in handy for the providers. The fact that a couple providers and a cell tower REIT have invested in them gives me warm fuzzies that they have a good strategy.

Of course, it all depends on their tech actually working at doing what they claim it will do, which honestly will surprise me if it does. We'll see in a couple years...

Absolutely. I was lucky to find one on CL a few years ago.

I also have TGC 2019 with it, so I have thousands of courses to play in my garage.

Thanks for that, I checked his text and he said future of 5G mobile coverage everywhere. I hadn’t had time to look into it. But I’ve been encouraging him to learn about investing. Looks like it doesn’t have too much further it can go down at this point

    My earliest bunch of shares:

In red box is the cost basis on a day I never bought that also had a high of $21, so there's that. 1/27 was my first purchase.

If you told me back then, that I'd be using a small chunk of my Roth IRA to buy GME I'd say you're hilarious and yolo or whatever the kids say these days. The point is I'm buying more today.

They're pros at spinning a story. Casually up 16% in a day..

And 300k borrowed. I'm ready for a dip :bananadance:

Went on our annual golf trip a couple weeks ago and got to do a round at Pebble Beach on trackman. It literally surprised the heck out of me how accurate that thing is. I've used one to get my attack, face angle, etc. but never played an actual round on it. It was pretty dang accurate to how I shoot out on the course (actually a little better since we had it on automatic 2 putt ). Amazed me a little.
