Nice! Which brand did you go with for these, and did you get them already painted?

Nice! Of all things I just got rear ended a little by a drunk driver. So, I think I'm going to try for an aftermarket bumper. Let's see how it looks without the green.

I’m sure an aftermarket black plate bumper would look killer!

I have a question for you all. Somewhere in the area of where the sticker that shows the recommended tire pressure for your vehicle, there is probably a yellow sticker that notifies you of a reduction of the payload capacity for your truck. For example, mine says it was reduced by 41lbs. WHat, if anything does yours say? Please also indicate the type of truck you have and any factory (not port or dealer applied) options.

Mine came w/ mudflaps and that’s it. My yellow sticker says reduced by 40 lbs. there is a line across the 0 that almost makes it look like it says 41:notsure: I remember seeing something as to why we have that sticker but can’t remember the reasoning

The reduction is what is the decrease in total payload weight based on additions to the base Tacoma. Assuming other Pros are about the same - roughly 40 pounds - that would I guess be the reduction from the added weight of the upgraded suspension on the Pro. We'll need to see other models to see if that holds true.

I had to go out and take a picture of mine - you all got me thinking that I mis-read my sticker. For some reason, mine is 41. But, it seems that the Pros are all consistent - at least for 2020.

I have a pro, and the sticker says 38 pounds. I think the skid plate would account for a lot of that capacity reduction. I removed it to paint, and it has some weight to it

I have a 2020 TRD Pro and mine says 69lbs

Maybe it has to do with the factory or dealer installed extras.

Based on yours, it seems the final sticker is put on at the Port after they apply any options. That would account for my 1lb difference (TRD Air Filter) and yours with the added components (bed mat is the heaviest in your list). If it were done at the dealership, mine would be higher than yours since I had those same options added by the dealer plus the Predator Steps.

Those door sill protectors can get hefty for sure...

Interesting how an air filter makes a 1lb difference. I'm guessing they just factor in the standard label weight of the items rather than actually weighing the truck.

Right. They probably look at the part weight and round up.

I think that's the most likely scenario. At the port they generate a sticker after pulling any add-ons. The bed mat on Amazon says it's ships at 27 lbs. I bet the first 30-40 lbs are the TRD package and anything above that are accessories.

Yup. 40lbs seems to be the standard TRD Pro number and anything after that is weight from options added at the factory or the port.
