While I agree that aesthetics are important, customer service and quality are equally (if not more) important. I don’t care how good your sliders look if you have poor customer service. I ain’t giving you a dime of my hard earned money if you can’t provide decent customer service. And you can tell when people put pride, effort, and quality into a product.

yea, after my experience with their wheels, and being a part of this thread since almost the first day, I can confidently say I'll never do business with RRW again. Which is a shame, because I have to agree that they make VERY good looking products. Unfortunately their quality control and customer service are absolutely NOT up to the standard they should be, especially when there are several other options out there that meet or exceed expectations for looks, quality, and customer service.

+1 for @Shmellmopwho I have his sliders, and I think those are some of the best quality ones out there, they're VERY good looking, at least as good as the RRWs, if not better, plus his service is way better. And he's just an independent fabricator who does them as his side-gig. He doesn't have the backing of a company behind him, and he still manages to out-do RRW at every turn. Plus he's fun to go wheeling with.

    Very much appreciated!

I will admit, I did not find this thread until AFTER I purchased the RRW sliders. The main reason why I went with RRW is after I saw them be reccomended by the Taco Twonz guys on youtube. Interestingly, they have actually taken RRW products off their website......Not much I can do at this point.

    Thanks again for the recommendation!

Sliders installed! Ya pain for sure but I like the look. Ill add coating inspection and touch up with greasing the upper control arms.

Thanks buddy! I really appreciate the kind words.

I honestly don’t have too much of an issue with the sliders these guys produce. The welds are not the best I’ve seen but I don’t claim to be the best welder either. They’re adequate and they are an attractive set of sliders. I just don’t think there was a whole lot of thought put into expanding the business into the armor side. I was the one who had to tell these RRW guys that their sliders were gonna bend upwards right away if they didn’t gusset the frame plate to the legs. The biggest issue I have seen is that the customer service is.....uhh....non existent? I haven’t even see these guys come on here to address any concerns a lot of these customers have. Anyways, hope they change their ways for the better so that the customers who spend their hard earned money on their product don’t get screwed

the original versions of one of their wheels don't fit over the front hubs of the 4x4/Pre-runners. They're definitely marketed as an off-road wheel, but the fact that the 4x4s and Pre-runners have larger front hub covers seemed to have been missed...

I bought the wheels second hand, with no way of knowing this fact, and had issues with the wheel mounting/install. I had to ultimately install wheel spacers for them to work, which caused rubbing that I hadn't anticipated (and don't think would have been an issue without the spacers), and had to do the CMC and trimming before I intended to.

I pointed out this fact to them, and to their credit, they updated the product page with a note that they don't fit without spacers.

But the fact that they marketed and sold "off-road" oriented wheels, that don't fit on the 4x4 version of the truck they're intended for, shows the same lack of R&D and rushing things to market before they're fully ready that is shown with these sliders. So two products that are basically rushed to market, and basically using the end user as guinea pigs, without their knowledge, (if I had the opportunity to be a guinea pig for a product, I'd be down to do that in exchange for a discounted or free product) makes me never want to work with them again.
