yea i was saying though the factory CV is going to limit you as far as strength its going to be your weak leak. Like if you droop to much and gas or turn it will bind where as the 934 would not.

My information comes from conversations with @81Trekker, in addition to the fact I just wrapped up installing a JD +2.25" over kit with CVJ axles on my personal truck and dropped it off at alignment this morning.

At this point I'd recommend moving this "conversation" to the JD Fab thread as it has no relevance to the OP's original question.

 

So what did you do to limit the travel since you’re using CVJs?

 

Strapped it earlier than if I was using 934s.

Yeah, I was speaking from experience, not theory from an abundant amount of questions.

 

I think I misread your earlier posts. I thought you were blasting me for doing the JD 2.25 and not wanting to do 934s. Turns out it was @Brian422 being an ass hahaha

What UCA are you running for mid-travel?

 

We have our own UCA on our Tacoma right now, but we've had great results with Icon Delta joint arm

 

Release yours to the world... i'd wait for those

 

I'm running the Icon tubular with the delta joint also. Very impressed, especially with the delta joint. They are pricey though.
