Interesting. I get the same thing from time to time. Just replace the drivers' side but likely need to replace the passenger. It mostly works, but that one time you need it, it's a WTF moment. I just bled the brakes a few times but still get it. It makes me wonder if I have some leak somewhere. I see now fluid but anyway, to determine if the air is making its way in?

If the bearing is "making noise", then its time to replace it.

If the fluid is not lowering, then you don't have a leak. Make sure your bleeders are snugged up, I've never seen a condition where air would be introduced into the system where fluid wasn't seen leaking out, unless you have some kind of leak internal to the master cylinder that is causing fluid to bypass and introducing air bubbles from turbulence into the master cylinder. When you bleed them, start at the back passenger side, then onto back driver, then front passenger, and finish with front driver closest to the master.

yah didn't think I had a leak. I bled them in the manner you noted and did it a few times to make sure. Seemed ok but still had a softer than liked to feel to it. Before it was not as bad but accidentally pressed the pedal with the caliper off. I am thinking I may have some air in the master somehow which ill need to get techstream I believe to bleed that since its the electronic master. (unless there is a trick to it without)

def going to replace the passenger side but I think I need to bleed again. They did not seem as soft before I had to bleed again.

Is there anyway to bleed the master without techstream?

If you break your brakes, it’s good to know immediately, nice call on checking them.
