    you sure they do the 5vz harness? he didn't mention it. Ya would be nice to have the haltech... my truck was doggin it a bit on the way to work, but on the way home it was ripping. wish it drove like that all the time... I ordered the ruthenium plugs this morning, thanks for posting the napa part#

    Sounds like my truck too, that’s the stock ECU for you but not for much longer,
    Yup, I talked to him today for 15 minutes,
    VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE GUY,
    he doesn’t have an updated video yet,
    He shows the 3.4 as available on this website.

    He said the power Dyno curve will be much higher on the power curve, more so on the bottom end
    but every truck will be different,

    We will see the results in a few months

    so Do you have to have a shop dyno tune? I hope it is the fix we are looking for! and is as easy to switch back n forth for smog since Im in ca.

    I don't know about just pushing the limits... :D The 2.0 pulley goes over the designed maximum rpm for the sc at redline, Never figured out how quickly you over spin the sc with the 1.9" pulley. Though as long as you aren't banging off limiter all the time you are fine. Just wears bearings faster than the service life.

    If your supercharger isn’t ported you won’t gain anything and if your at sea level or close you don’t need to, I’m at 5300

    It will come with a map setup specifically for my engine, tire size, 5 speed etc done by this company.
    NOT a generic map,

    It will need a final Dyno tune to make it perfect.

    I did a Dyno 4 months ago so I will know exactly what the benefits will be.

    I push the limit and so far I’m ok,
    A smaller pulley will create lots more heat to the bearings etc,
    That’s why I run a #5 nozzle methonal,
    I swear even after 3 hard back to back pulls on the Dyno the supercharger you can still place your hand on and is relatively cool and my Dyno numbers were all in the same target area with no drop from heat soaking. I’m sure with out the methonal for cooling the bearings would burn up quick.

    My intake supercharger temperatures after the compressed air Full boost have been 175 degrees on a hot day, normally around 125-145
    A regular supercharger without methonal will way exceed that 200 plus,

    Here are intake before and after hot numbers, 90 degrees outside
    And a cool day outside

    You're probably fine, yeah. Just saying that the bearings will wear quicker. Not sure if the cooling helps as well, it might but I think its the machined tolerances that determine the max rpm on the bearings, not the heat? may be wrong on that. The methanol is one of the only non botched jobs to fix our setup. That, Fic6 (compared to 7th), and standalone or larger injectors/pump.

    Absolutely, any time you put a smaller pulley the supercharger bearings will wear faster,

    A stock pulley you will get the most miles out of with 6-7 pounds of boost

    True, but once you exceed the max rpms of the blower, you will have bearings wearing through faster than the lifetime of them, your bearing life will significantly reduce.

    The 7th helped my truck tremendously. mine pinged under full boost with the stock pulley. we only have 91 out here in ca. without the 7th no way i could run the 2"

    We will see how long the 1.9 will last.
    The 2” pulley went a little over 100k miles,
    My stock pulley went around 150k back in the day

    Ive always thought that pushing over 10 psi we needed to gap them smaller to not blow out the spark like the turbo cars do. could be why it seems to run better

    yeah, 91 makes it hard, but the 7th is essentially throwing so much fuel at the engine that it can’t tune it out anymore. Also no timing control.. that’s why it call it botched.
