Hey guys! I’m new here but have had my Limited for a few years now. I’m getting to the point we’re new tires are needed soon and want to have that aggressive look all while having a all around decent tire. My truck having 18” I’m having a lot of trouble finding a beefy looking tire that fits my Limited. If you have any options or suggestion I’d greatly appreciate it.

if you look on www.tirerack.com there are a few options with a much more aggressive tread design.

I have a 2016 limited. I just recently deleted the pic my Amazon pics…I can grab another. I went with OEM dimensions, wildpeak they look somewhat aggressive but didn’t change mileage too much nor are they loud. Almost 3 years and have worn quite well.

Installed December 2019, about 20,000 miles, rotated each 5,000 (Toyota computer ) oil change.

previously, I had same exact tires you had.

It's been a good tire so far. It's a hybrid, so a bit more aggressive than an AT and with that comes weight and possibly a stiffer ride. But driving around Seattle in the rain, I've yet to break them free, where my KO2's were like ice-skates. Haven't noticed any excessive road noise, as compared to my other tires, but admittedly, I listen to my music a bit loudly... so I'm may be missing it.

In a 265/60-18 variety they are only 45lbs...so not too bad at all for as aggressive as they are

Edit - or you could do a +1 and do a 265/65-18 which is only 46lbs

I appreciate all of your help! You guys have shown me some styles I haven’t seen yet, so thank you! And thank you for recommending the size difference, I think I’m leaning towards it

265/65/18 is a 31.5" tire and about as big as you can go without modifying the truck. Don't sweat the tires weight, a few pounds isn't that important. If you want a heavy duty tire that will resist flats better on rough unpaved roads or off road then buy an LT tire. They are much more expensive, won't ride as well, and may reduce fuel mileage a tiny bit. Lt tires will always be heavier, but 5-10 lbs either way isn't a big deal.

Standard tires will always be lighter, but once again a few pounds doesn't matter. When you start going to really big tires and see 15-20 lbs difference in tire weight then it might make a noticeable difference.

The wider the tire the worse fuel mileage you'll get. I like to stay with a 265mm width instead of the 275, 285, or wider tires. You can still get a tall tire without going wide. The more aggressive the tread the bigger the hit you'll take in performance and fuel mileage.

WHICH tire is a personal decision and there is not a consensus. You'll get tons of different answers. Everything is a compromise. I prefer to stay with something moderately aggressive and only slightly bigger than stock. A more aggressive tire is great in deep mud, but can be a handicap on wet pavement. A street tire rides better, but is less useful offroad. A decent all terrain will do what 95% of 4X4 drivers need. If you NEED a more aggressive tire you'll know it and won't have to ask for advice.

I like these. But there are many good options.

Hey thanks for the very detailed answer I feel more confident with going a bit bigger. Also funny you mention the Toyo tires because those have been my number one for a minute now and now I feel like it’s a sign and I should get them

265/65/18 Ridge Grappler. Looks great but not the best tire in the wet.
