Yeah I do that sometimes too, not real often though. Once I get to bed, I'm usually out. On the nights I really toss, I move to the couch and that puts me right to sleep.

I've just been constantly busy for the last month and a half or so. I think the desire to just sit back and relax a bit is keeping me from going to bed - i know that once I fall asleep I'll wake up again and have to go right back to work

its really hard to keep a schedule when there's nothing to be on time for. Found that out when i was freelancing. During the pandemic i start working at 8 am, so I get up at 7:53 - because it takes me 7 minutes to make coffee.

    Yep, thats me.

I don't eat too much into sleep - even if I go to bed at midnight I get close to enough.

Yeah making coffee is only second to letting the dogs out. They are the most reliable alarm clock. 8am every morning.

Absolutely. My cat was very persistent about making sure I was out of bed on time. He sure did care about me

Man I wish my dad left for cigarettes

Instead he would leave for a few years at a time and settle down for a job somewhere else with a promise he'd move the family out so we could all be together... But never did. My whole childhood was spent waiting. "Oh, we're moving to Ohio soon". "Oh, were moving to Kentucky at the end of this semester." "No no we'll be moving to Jersey this summer"

That sucks. Stay or go, pick one. All that bouncing around is worse for everyone. Makes ya wonder if there's something else going on.

Wow, that’s actually really close. That’s an early 70’s Bayliner Mutiny I think. I have a 1977 Bayliner Cascade.

Speaking of which, I’ve been working on it the last three days straight. I got the whole deck ripped up and a whole lot of the old fiberglass removed which was a b!tch and a half.

Spent my life savings on three sheets of 3/4” plywood and two gallons of fiberglass resin + cloth. Only managed to get one piece cut before I had to send it back to its home for the weekend.

It gets to live another day it seems.

The TAP Plastics store is always cool to visit. The black roll you see is carbon fiber, this is the same place who cut the Plexiglass for my arcade restoration.

I'm on call this weekend so I can't enjoy the 3 day weekend cause I have to make myself available. The anxiety of waiting to see if the phone rings when I'm in the middle of something is a PITA.
