Sorry about your loss. I did not get to watch the Leafs game, only highlights. Seemed a bit crazy. Hey at least it's a legit series now. After last game, I thought Montreal should just phone it in.

@TacoHank1998 what a series, 4 OTs in a row, two of them double OTs. Preds gave the Canes a hella battle, can’t take anything away from them. Two good teams!

 

Muzzin with 2 goals and with all that firepower Toronto has, should have ended it. Tough break in ot.

All I have to say is... I am sad the Preds got knocked off... but it wasn't for lack of effort. The Canes are a damn good team and that was a damn good series. Both sides Hella physical. As a hockey fan... that series is what you crave... I just hoped it would have went the other way.

Canes vs TB. Also it’s interesting most of the brackets the media puts out show lines like there are two conference finals, not this year. The final four division teams will be seeded by regular season points with 1 playing 4, 2 playing 3, that’s the same seeding we’ve had this far for 1st and 2nd rounds.

No... funny story on that one. I used to be an OTR trucker and my company's home base was Nashville. The company was like a silver level sponsor of the Preds and they always gave away tickets for things like safety awards. I won a couple of times and got to see them live... kinda grew to love em. Other than that... the only other hockey I ever saw live was the old ECHL teams from Pensacola and Columbus, GA.

My other pro team likes are FL based. I'm actually a TB fan in baseball but never really got behind the Lightning.

 

Makes sense. Before we got the Carolina Panthers I used to go to Atlanta on occasion for football games and baseball as well. Pull for the Panthers now but I still pull for the Braves.

 

I'm sure despite the 1st round exit Nashville will still be raising some sort of banner at their home opener next season.

 

I don't really care who wins this series as long as the Leafs and Habs beat the shit out of each other. But it will be nice to see some fans in the stands for game 6 in MTL.

Funny but I don’t like trolling by the Canes media unless it’s just a payback, and bet the Canes team doesn’t either, can come back to haunt ya. Preds played hard and you gotta respect that and be thankful you came out on the winning side.

 

Which team members posted that? Stahl? Coach? Lol it was the Canes organization media guys on Twitter.

 

With 4OTs... that series was 1 or 2 better Pred shots away from going the other direction.

True but the OTs broke even, each won two. First two games were clear Canes wins in regulation and that was the difference.
