    Oh Sorry
    Had to...

Honestly I can’t believe when you go camping people bring the noisy city with them.
We have one or two around here, no pets allowed.
My boy just left for the long weekend for camping up north.
The dog is being “doggie sat” down here.

Wonderful, great and awesome Memorial Day weekend all, remember all those folks that made the ultimate sacrifice for us to be able to "party by the pool" in their absence!!

I was lucky all my family VETS went, fought, and made it home alive, MANY were not so lucky!! Special remembrance this year is to my Uncle Leon's WWII group, US Army Air Corp 100th BG 350th BS, the Bloody 100th as they were nicknamed. The group that lost the most over the skies of Germany than any other group in the 8TH AAF. Those that made it home in their late 90s and 100s now have told us of their losses, and are leaving us at an alarming rate these days.

My Dad did not die in uniform, however he will be remembered this weekend at the Dayton Ohio Veterans Cemetery this weekend. I hope everyone has a great weekend and remembers those who gave their lives for our great Country.

I've been to that cemetery - I lived in Dayton through HS and college.

We appreciate all who served, and miss those not still with us.

It actually was amazingly quiet here last night given the number of rigs that showed up. Nothing more than a few people talking. They were all in the electric loop so no generators for their rigs. And most everyone turned in early last night, I was the last one by my fire as far as I could tell. It was freakishly warm last night compared to the previous week so I was enjoying it.
Camp hosts here are awesome too. Retired couple from Scotland. Super nice folks. They say they host at a camp in St George, UT in the winter.
They have a coffee buffet set up in their camp to share with everyone. Do it every morning I guess.

    At camp #6
First one here. Place is booked for the weekend though.
Also reserved the wrong site, meant to get the one next door. It has a fire ring set way back from the rest of camp, nice and private. Still got a nice site, just not the one I wanted.
Going into town for dinner as a treat. Prime rib.
