So my tracking still has not updated. No ship date and no delivery date, both still say pending. Is anyone else still waiting for actual shipment details? I’m on a trip starting next Thursday, and it would be amazing to have the tent, but I’m less optimistic by the hour now...especially if I have to go to the hub to inspect and pick up.

 

Mine is still doing the same thing and says pending and sitting in Phoenix. Nothing updated since Monday.

 

Same with mine. I did just get an email from DA asking me to review the product I ordered.

Come on guys, I know they're busy and trying to get this stuff out but transparency really hasn't been the best. Telling me I'll get a tracking number by end of week then not actually shipping out the item for another week seems a bit misleading to say the least. Like tell us WTF is going on and be honest about it. Setting expectations high then not following through is asking for it IMHO.

 

That’s happened twice to me with their products now. I get an email to give a review before I even receive the product. Priorities haha

 

Yup, just got the review email as well. I get that their sales system sends it automatically XX days after the order is marked as shipped....but.... the item isn’t shipped when the label is printed. This is a systemic issue with all retailers nowadays not just DA and it’s super frustrating when the time between label print and out the door is continuing to get longer and longer. It’s even more frustrating given the supply chain delays we’ve all incurred already. I wish there was something to do about it... but is there?

I’m disappointed to say the least.

 

I continue to say the customer is the one who will dictate the end story, DA had their chance. And no FUCKING way am I filling out the survey until I get my dam tent, and I will be honest.

And now that my tent is in Fed Ex’s possession, I have gotten like 3 emails from DA, actually might be 4.

 

Yea I feel like brands think the customers are stupid or something and by just getting us tracking, we will be good for a while. I know you didn’t ship it. I wasn’t born yesterday. My wife owns a clothing company I know all the little shipping tricks.

 

This is what I have. Like why are they scanning it 2 or 3 times a day with no progress?

 

Mine made it to Texas today

Guessing it hit a hub so it can come north versus going south.

 

The best is the email I got from DA saying my package is “Out for Delivery” on Monday.

I’m over the “everyone’s having issues” excuse.

1. No they’re not. Example: Ordered a knife this morning on KnifeJoy, had a tracking number within 2 hours, UPS picked up the package today.
2. Fine if you’re having issues. Be transparent, be honest. Nothing holding you back from that except for greed. If you can’t ship my shit out don’t give me a tracking number and communicate with me properly. As a small business owner these things aren’t really much to ask for. My customers expect these same things from me and although sometimes it’s not easy, and sometimes I hate doing it, I still do and make sure my staff is following up properly and being honest with my customers. If they’re fucked I say “sorry dude, shit’s fucked, I can give you your money back or you’re gonna have to deal with x, y and Z.”
3. iKamper is sure as shit not like this currently. My buddy just ordered from them, got his tent delivered in perfect condition to his house within two weeks of order date, didn’t touch it for a month, then opened it and realized that they had sent him the bigger more expensive tent on accident. He could’ve kept it but wanted the skycamp mini anyway and he emailed them. Within a week he had the correct tent delivered to his house and the delivery guys picked up the old tent and took it back no questions asked.

So no, not everyone is like this and this is not the only way to do business.

Received my Warrior today.

 

To your house or did you have to pick it up at the hub to avoid a charge?

 

I received my warrior yesterday, it got dropped off in my backyard and there was no mention of any extra charge

 

They called yesterday to setup a time to drop off at my house.
Managed to deal with the drop off between the rain storms, and meetings I had today.

 

Sorry to hear about you guys having these shipping issues still.

Please to email support@desertarmorshop.com to voice your opinion because they don’t see it here. It would be nice if they can hear it from customers besides me telling them to change the amount of time the automated email for a review gets sent out.

 

That even more disappointing that the guy who is drumming up business for them, being a great go between and they won’t listen to your feedback.

 

@uploadadventure Rich, sorry to lay it on in this thread just getting frustrating not knowing and having expectations set high just to be let down. It is in no way a reflection of you and how you've been throughout this process which is nothing short of great. I did just email support right now to see if I can get an update.

 

Just got off the phone with FedEx. They told me all those scans I am seeing of the same thing saying it’s at customer pick up, means they’ve been to the warehouse multiple times and have not been able to pick up my item. So we were correct in guessing that they haven’t been getting them all out every day.
