Hey I’m replacing the front suspension on my 2001 Tacoma 4cyl 2WD extended cab, and it’s been a bit of a headache first with the reinstall of the spring and now that I have the spring in place I cannot get the front lower control arm to line up for install.
Should i have installed the front lower arm first?? it seems like it would hinder the spring install to me, but I’m stuck now.

    please EF946431-218A-49FD-A0DC-ABBE7B02530B.jpg BF633038-8477-4965-8D25-814144F7D7BC.gif help!?

Btw I have found LOTS of videos on installing front suspension parts on the same year range Tacoma but none of them have the same setup as mine. Did everyone junk their 2WD extended cabs? Most everyone has the spring attached to their shock but mine rests on the control arm

Awesome info! Thanks! sounds about right Bc I don’t think it would have been possible to remove the spring before the lower c/a and now it looks impossible to put the c/a on after.

This one is my work horse for landscaping and auto repair.
Next stop replace the entire AC system except the lines.
Have the accumulator kit the condenser and the compressor and already had a shop empty the system. Any hints or tips when doing this? It will be my first time doing an accumulator.
Then I gotta go pickup a motor for my gf’s Honda.
