Savannah or Tybee Island are beautiful. There's certainly no shortage of local places to go that are family friendly

I would get immediately turned away with my dented up, rusty 1st gen rock crawler. If they do let me in, I would get asked to leave after I setup my Coleman tent and cooler with the busted lid that I keep ratchet strapped shut to show off the camping digs..

Since I was banned from that group, I would assume I'm not invited anyhow.

Found this big mean fucker in the road this evening. Tried to grab and move him but he wasn’t having none of it without taking a finger.

That experience was great. Easy, they explained everything well, didn’t pressure me. I’d recommend them to anyone.....that said, I ended up dropping them and going with someone else for this new purchase. The guy I got for that was a knucklehead. Guess it just depends. If you want, I’ll send you the guys info I worked with for the refi. If he would’ve handled this purchase I’d probably still be with them.

Posting this for general knowledge since there has been some back and forth about driving distance and time required for a meet up at Ft. Fisher.

Left Monroe and headed east on 74. Took it all the way to wilmington. Then took Hwy 41 south through wilmington, carolina beach and kure beach. Went all the way to the end of Ft. Fisher state recreation area about 7 miles i think. Spent the day and headed back out. Took the ferry to SouthPort. Then took Hwy 211 back to 74 and back west from there.

I recorded the track for info purposes and will post the stats from Gaia. Total distance traveled was 400 mi. About 3-3.5 hours one way.
