First Tacoma - 2021 TRD Off Road

    Excited to join the owners group! Purchased a new 2021 Taco TRD Off Road last night. Tried to jump on it before the holiday weekend. Places are doing appointments only in CA and they were booked solid all weekend - so I just couldn't deal with the lines or wait for the dust to settle. Would be curious how others are faring out there? Dealer "mark-up" pushed it up to $47,000; got them down to MSRP finally at $40,990; and ended negotiations at $40,000 even. A friend told me I should go for invoice price or $5k under MSRP - but I just didn't feel I had any leverage in CA. They somewhat knew Memorial Day weekend and all their pre scheduled appointments were coming up - so even if I tried to walk, my bluff would've been called. There are a decent amount of added features such as technology package, bed lights, running boards, rubber mats.

    Regardless, excited for summer trails and ski season! I couldn't wait another year to adventure :) Cheers!

    It's a sellers market for everything right now as supplies are limited on many different things. I wouldn't worry about the price you paid. These trucks hold their value extremely well and even appreciate in value. Enjoy it, have fun, and welcome!
