How is it over there, still a shit whole. I get to go back in a few months, I just found out. So much for that crap about stabalizing your personal life before deployments. Be off active for about 18-20 months when I head back. Have a safe trip home all, that are there.

    Yes, still a shithole...

Speak for yourself. I work 14-15 hour days and today is my 133rd straight day of work... And if you're talking about the enemy, you're wrong there too. Jan 3 we got hot with 17 240mm-300mm rockets that got 20 WIA.

I was on the scene before the first responders... hit 200ft from the gym where I workout everyday.

Sorry to hear that hopefully nobody was really serious, I've seen the effect of those damn rockets. Watched 2 fly right over my head about 30 feet high. Luckily they were not air burst. Long days are tough but help pass the time by keeping busy if you want to call it that.
Thanks for the update, be safe.

    .
Hope it goes well for you. By the way, since there are active guys that post here, I just want to say to you and all of you guys out there, thank you very much for serving this great country we have. We probably do not agree on politics but that doesn't change the fact that anyone who will serve their country and be willing to give the ultimate sacrifice (if needed), deserves to be honored and respected for what they do. I really hope this government will get their shit together and fix the VA system so it can help all the guys who got their heads screwed up over there. Just giving a guy Zanax is little help for PTSD. God bless you all.
