Ok I will play the Friday horde show off game.

Toggle switches with cool AF leeeet covers for (1) disable anytime locker mod, (2) disable VSC in 4hi. They will go in the glove box

Cab mount chop fill plates, ditch light brackets, Bison off road cam tab set, Total Chaos bed stiffeners.


Gas tank skid plate. I started to install it, then just got distracted by like 3 other things and only got 1 of the 4 strap mounts up.

OH LOOK SQUIRREL.

Of course I have more crap, not installed. 4 switch panel for an F-250.

It will have compressor, light bar, ditch lights, and chase bar on it.

 

True, but a rusty 10 year old Tacoma still goes for almost as much as a new caravan...lol.

I think an explanation of suck a nice looking caliper is in order.

 

14wa 4runner caliper + 4 runner stoptech drilled and slotted rotor + 4runner backing plate = poor man's bbk

 

What pads are you running? Advics AD0976?

 

Do any of you guys have this hitch from our lord and saviour Princess Auto? Can she actually stand a recovery? Wonder if it also clears long enough to the pin, it would be a great stubby option if so.

I have this one. Have done recoveries with it but nothing crazy. Did do a mid size Bobcat out of a planter box once.

Ah good to know! The receiver is solid apparently so if I'm worried about the quality of the shackle I'll just replace that down the road.

Hopefully will come in use this year so one of you can pull me out!

 

Do you intend to run the bigger version of the Powerstop pads with the larger calipers?

Edit: seems the part numbers are identical minus a b at the end. I did read that the taco pads work in the 14wa....and I do have a couple fresh pairs..

 

Had the same one for 5 years. Used it to get myself pulled out of the mud once. Also loaned it on two other recoveries. The hitch insert has been very robust - it's the first thing to scrape on departure angle. The shackle has a WLL of 3-3/4 tons if I remember correctly, which is enough for our trucks buried to the wheel hubs.

You can always change to soft shackles later.

Sweet mother of God. I had an idea of what to expect but I did not expect the first two words out of my mouth to be Holy Fuck.

Completely changed my truck and it performs comparable to the MR2.

One just doesn't go back from this. You just don't.
