Just paid @whitedlite's kit from him, and pretty excited! Are there any pages, or install posts, of these 606 pages anyone would recommend? I've got some time before I'll have a chance to install it, but familiarizing myself as much as possible about what to expect would be great.

There's a set of installation instructions around here somewhere.

@3rd_gen_trd_taco and @Turd Hawg probably have some solid gems. @MESO as well.

You'll want to make sure your clamps for the turbo inlets are tight af, because the silicone couplers are a bit too large for the inlet size.

Hopefully your kit has some extra silicone couplers, or you'll need to source some. My couplers for the stock airbox and throttle body connections were way too large, so there's additional couplers stuffed inside so that a good seal can be created.

I recommend keeping a 10mm with you for a bit, especially while doing your initial pulls for datalogs to dial in the tune, so that you can reconnect couplers as they blow off lol or before you start, even better, go over all of them to ensure they're tight and you can use hairspray to keep them sealed up nice and tight.

It's not in the instructions but the kit should also have come with a check valve, it goes in your driver side pcv hose.

Recommend having a boost gauge. Can get a vent mount from @Bigetaco22 of he's still making them.

If you have an aftermarket y-pipe, expect to overboost. Mat will be able to advise you on what psi will be expected and acceptable for your setup and fueling, and what is too much.

Also recommend a boost controller. I'm now using a Turbosmart single stage manual controller.

I had CELs for o2 sensors, so a combination of tightening up my Downpipe-to-Ypipe connections and using the Fabspeed Motorsports o2 sensor spacers with mini cats cleared those up. For the record, I've got catted downpipes, so idk they'll work with catless pipes.

Going to want plenty of additional heat shielding stuff as well.

Also got turbo blankets for the snails. The specific ones are buried in posts somewhere in this thread. @deuceb

    here ya go. https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0...stall_Instructions_Version_1.pdf?v=1603037347

I think there's been changes to this since originally sent to me.I have it saved as a pdf also, so if the shopify link dies I can email it to you.

I think I've got everything you do as far as heat shielding he's set.
It was basically a copy of Meso's order, about 500+ worth of stuff from PTP.

    Some cliff notes:
    - I had to clock the compressor housings on both turbos for wastegate clearance.
    - Clocking required re-alignment of the wastegate linkage. Check thread engagement on the linkage.
-check the preload on the wastegate. I went with 1/2 pin diameter but cannot confirm if this is correct, still don’t have a tune.
-raising my fuse box 1 inch with spacers kept me from having to cut into it.
-raised the air box about an inch too.

Other than that I followed the instructions provided by OV.

For the charge piping and intercooler I am completely different than the kit.

Feel free to message me or ask here and I can provide pictures of what you would like to see.

Could be aerodynamics, I know with a Subaru Impreza, in a snowstorm heavy enough that the wipers and defroster could not keep up at 60MPH, but above 75 I turned the wiper off. No idea how speed impacted MPG, but you can envision that the aerodynamics was certainly different at the higher speed, with regard to impact to the substantial area of the windshield.

There is a relationship between speed, aero, and MPG. Overall, it takes more fuel to go faster but individual vehicles are different by design through aero, gearing, torque curves, and all of that at typical highway speeds.

The fun part is that most any slippery car can hit 200 with about 400hp or so. But, it takes careful design and 1,000hp+ to crack 250.

In my NA Taco, 60 to 65 is the best MPGs on the highway, but I did see 30+ cruising long distance and slow through some very scenic flat ground with no one in front or behind me.

So my p0430 CEL (should be driver's side since it looks like cyl 2 is on the driver side?) keeps intermittently returning. A few days of driving with it on and it'll go away for 5-6 days, then returns for a couple days, rinse and repeat.

The screenshot below is from my buddy who works at the local dealership, was asking about passing state inspection.

Since turning off an o2 sensor in the tune (setting the numerical value to zero) places it in a not ready status, it appears this method could clear up my issues while still letting me pass state inspection annually.

But because it's a numerical value (normally 250 I think?) I wonder if a lower value (not zero) just makes it less sensitive and keeps it in a ready status?

    @OVTune ?

Increasing speed increases drag at a faster rate. Doubling the speed creates twice as much air moving twice as fast, causing drag to quadruple. Aerodynamics does not explain an efficiency increase from 65/75 mph to 85 mph.

Currently I am working with @Turd Hawg for final testing on another persons truck, so that we can release these files.

as soon as we wrap things up with turdhawg, we are good to go

Our Cold Engine Drive Patch works very very well.

how it works is simple. Depending on the Engine Coolant Temperature, and the Engine RPM, Throttle is limited.
This allows you to drive safely at cold engine temps, while limiting total boost and torque, until the engine is up to temp.
It eliminates ***multiple*** issues with driving and boosting on an ice cold engine.

    Understood.

In the past you'd mentioned that you were working on a solution for codes however, is that still planned and effective for this?

Or was that in reference to something else?

And @deuceb when I say a weekend, based on what others have said I gather that means start working on a Friday after work, and then crank out a solid/entire day both Saturday and Sunday, morning until a bit after sunset lol
