Agreed. The MC product intro was over the top and definitely created a sense of imminent release. No question it’d be frustrating for early investors. But investment in a niche market doesn’t come without risk. MC is a small operation and, perhaps, should be approached with some skepticism. If it isn’t worth the wait, or risk, it seems one would experience less frustration and more satisfaction by working more within the OEM abilities of the Tacoma or, as already stated, get something like a Jeep instead.

Or going to companies that are just as small but know how to develop product, get supply chains in order, don't over hype and promise, and can get similar and better products in customer's hands in a reasonable time frame from announcement. Or just get product in customer's hands period.

Kinda funny that my custom armor from a 2 man shop on the weekends is getting done faster and they stay busy with making products and building customer's stuff.

How many RCLT kits do you think they would have sold by now? I think they easily would have sold 20-30 in a year.

At least if they would of been more focused on getting everything lined up and built and not rubbing elbows and hobb schnobbing with the influencers and stuff then I would of gotten their kit. But they decided a different route and that sealed the coffin for me. I saw the writing on the wall a long time ago along with a lot of other guys. I'm guessing they lost at least 50-100 sets in sales from this. Same goes with their issues of the crawl boxes. People went elsewhere because they couldn't handle it.

    Same here.

that said, even if after getting all the influencers kits mine showed up tomorrow I’d be sending it back cause I know with their history if anything went wrong with the kit I’d be dead in the water waiting for MC to replace anything much less answer the phone. The support on this kit is what’s gonna kill the rest of the business.

Biggest disappointment was renaming a steering rack after boasting about how they developed something new then telling everyone it’s just a 200 series rack. That’s just sad.

That last part for 100%. Even after a bunch of people said it looked like a tundra rack or something similar they held that nope it was what they were developing. Hell the 200 has 3 mounts looks like it's going to take more to put in the taco than the tundra rack. Looks like all they did different was make HC lower control arms all the other companies have been doing what they did for a lot longer and got their shit together to do so.

That is a good point, but to the general public finding about their RCLT kit through some random googling, they appear to be a long established company with a product that was about to ship.

Word is they've started to ship the first few kits and more will go out next week. Kinda vague but it's something.

Where'd you hear that? They still haven't posted up the instructions, which was going to happen before the first kits shipped out.
