New pocket carry piece. I’ll be transitioning to this Diamondback DB9 Gen4 in +P 9x19 from the Gen2 P3AT. New flush mag plate and similar style wallet print holster should be here mid-late next week.

When you’re on vacation and are close to Palmetto State Armory, and you walk in and they say there’s no limit. I’m used to everything close by being sold out.

Just pulled the trigger (pun intended) on a Vortex Spitfire 3x red dot. Gonna put it on my 5lb AR I built last year, that'll be my lightweight CQB gun

Is full time 3x too much for CQB?

True. I'd say ideal even. From a warfare view that is what cqb is. I was thinking in my head more of a day to day avg. Joe cqb situation within the home.

CQB, from different school house averages, can be a from a 3 foot broom closet to a 200y corridor.

Picked up a box (20rnds) of Liberty Civil Defense 50gr 9mm +P. Stuff is so light that I actually opened it at the gun counter to make sure there was something in there. Figured it is time to leave the ball ammo for the range and pick up some SD ammo.

That's my Grandma's 1950s Model 99 stock. Was bone dry before the Howards. (Not sure exact year, Savage records are incomplete)

Also did one of my Grandpa's Model 1917s (the stock is "Sporterized" circa 1950s)

My wife runs a 7mm-08. She loves it. It's a nice round, real flat.

    First of how many?

Our Cabela's had quite a selection of ammo yesterday (on the actual shelves versus the special distribution table). I just didn't want to wait in the 3 click lines at the registers.

Well we signed a contract on a house in North Carolina in the lake Wylie area. I have been occupied and on a leash but once tomorrow comes and I’m on my way to Fl on my own it’s wide open!
