Is there anyone with dump tubes, and has vF and the means to edit their own tune who has codes for o2 sensors who is willing to test this? Or just anyone at all who has codes for the sensors.

My code is intermittent with catted downpipes and o2 sensor spacers with mini cats from Fabspeed.

I beg to differ... that’s just my opinion. You have to factor in rolling mass of tires and what not as well even with gear ratios.

Rotational mass calculations are very different and you can’t just up size gear and down size tire. Even though the rolling distances might be the same with gear/tire combinations you can’t disregard spinning a 60-70 pound tire versus a 30-40 pound tire.

Whatever makes you happy, I don’t judge.

Run a base tune first: then run the remaining.

@DownhillDragon run the stocker and yours on the same tune to see what 5.29s really do for you. Similar tires if ya can. Always wondered how much more gets to the ground with gears.

@tonered is talking about stock mt vs stock at

An AT needs 5.29 to have similar final drive ratio as MT. Just accounting for the drivetrain.

    I said stock tires? Literally: ". . . 5.29s and stock tires. . ."

To be clear, for comparison purposes, the diff gears don't matter that much.

Beyond that, lighter wheels and tires will show more subtle changes in the curves.

    Regardless, I don't judge either.

I was talking about an AT with 5.29s and stock tires versus a stock MT.

With 5.29s, the overall ratios are close to the MTs.

Yeah I was thinking 4.88 for some reason. It’s 5.29 to be equal ish

I got confirmation, I WILL have a bone-stock TRD OR to do the official pulls. I will ALSO bring two of my old wheels/tires (Pro wheels with 33" BFG K02s) to throw on the rear and do a run of my truck to have a baseline, since I will be ditching my K&N warm-air intake and swapping to a Volant intake w/ram air, and want to be able to compare, and tune for the new intake. Then soon... I'm going to get the Magnusson SC and start really going off the deep end.

Still willing to throw Coyoza into the mix if you want. Up to you.

Regardless, I recommend jumping between two stock trucks for as many dyno runs as you appear to plan to do, to try to let the trucks cool a bit between runs, swapping back and forth. And documenting run number and ambient temp and other data for each run. Smoothing factor, elevation, octane...

That's kinda hard to test with spending credits.

If you click on one of your Unlocked ECU IDs, you can get a download option. I have no idea what the DL is, but I am assuming it is a good way to test that the Credit Server is solid.
