Rocky, muddy, steep, slow and steady unless you’re @ovrlndkull visiting Bama haha i need mine to be a workhorse, too so it sees a lot of random shit like pulling trees and tractors out of the woods and hauling random stuff around. I’ve winched more stuff out of the woods than recovering my vehicle offroad.

truck is a heavy little piggy-

:anonymous: I'll either break some shit or make it or a combo of the 2. I need that full length video of the 2nd climb I made and then the snapping of the axle and rear.

yeah for some reason I thought he said 8 hrs not couldn’t remember. And yeah it’s overbuilt but I’m just going to probably throw a sheet of uhmw over the top for skid because of the strength of the tubing.

oh and the reason for the space in between the tubes up top is I’m going to mount my 20” Baja light bar in between them

I’d like to see it, too. I have this pic of you spotting me while I broke a taillight and saying something about “oh I haven’t broken anything yet” then the second picture not thirty minutes later haha

The video of me jumping up onto that ledge was pretty awesome. It's on the thread I gotta dig for it now

I've gotta go pick up my rig and trailer then it's wheeling time. I'll be going pretty hard once I get the thing in hand.

    Whole lotta stuff
I went 16x650lb for my springs as well. Plate bumper and full skids. Seems to be the way to go for moderate weight LT from what I’ve read. Spring only sets ride height, the rest of the magic is in the shocks. Don’t want to go too heavy or you risk handicapping your valving and having a little preload is good for handling.

Yes it takes me 16hrs to strip the truck, prep the frame, install the LCA kit, clean and paint all parts and do the reinstall.

I could probably pull it off in one day if I was really going for it and didn’t care about doing a nice paint job and detailed cleaning of all the parts before reinstall

@81Trekker Once all the prep work is done, how long would you say it takes to completely weld everything?
