spare tire question

    i bought my truck used and it doesnt have the bar to unlock the spare. what can i do?

    You should be able to fab something up. It's basically about 3.5' long with a hook on the end. The hook doesn't actually "hook" in but the rounded end of it fits into a slot (yeah, I know where your minds are going) and then you turn it. I know this because I had to use it on Saturday to lower the spare. I'd get you a pic but it's a bit late. If nobody has one by tomorrow, I'll post one.

    Honestly, I'd check out a local junk yard.
