It was smart to have that whole “flying cab driver” thing to fall back on, since you obviously weren’t able to make a reasonable living as a kitty photographer.

 

That actually happened to my first cat. Became diabetic and then passed shortly after. We didn’t even know that was a thing for cats

 

Beautiful cat. Love the colors. My Squeak, also a Maine Coon, had those same eyes and "collar." And was usually underfoot trying to keep close. When she got older, she always stayed where she could see me. Still miss her and occasionally expect to see her.

 

I'm so sorry to hear about Ponce. My deepest condolences.

That's great! When Igloo had her kitts and they started walking around I got a aluminum tray and filled it with litter, as soon as I spied one gonna answer nature's call I picked the kitt up and put in the tray! Guess what? They were trained in no time and never had any accidents.

 

Rascal's Birthday today , she's now 12 yrs old and still acts like a very active kitten !!!!

Maggie has not been appreciating the cold rainy weather we’ve had here. Hibernating on my lap has been her go to the last two days.
