Only aesthetic mods so far Leer 180 cap & Clazzio covers on order.
Good suggestion. The Search function will bring up many threads on tire sizes.

Welcome! As others have tried to say, this is a very common question and can be searched on tacomaworld using the search function. The TRD sport with stock rims can support 265/70/17 without lift or cutting. If you don't have stock rims, you will need to search through the threads on the forum. Best of luck!

I'll save you some time. There is a guy I saw with 265/65/17 on those same spec wheels. He rubbed on factory suspension. I believe he took the mud flaps off and it cleared though

Are you saying this guy rubbed with stock tires on aftermarket rims?

thanks for the advice. Trust me I have but seems that every where I look, different opinions are dished out. Didn’t think I’d get so much criticism for posting a question on a forum site

People have a short fuze on here when it comes to tire size questions. It's been asked ALOT

But to answer: Tallest tire you can go stock no rubbing is a skinny 33" - 255/85/r16 or 255/80/r17 depending on your wheel diameter

Welcome to TW. This site is awesome and the folks on here are inventive and helpful but there are a few topics that constantly get asked and as far as tire and wheel combos go it is probably the most asked. I have been in your position too. The search option is mind numbing to read through. I wish I could give you a direct answer but to many variables. Read a bunch and with luck you will get an answer. I found that talking to your local tire guy is a great way to find out. My guy will even let me test fit tires to see what works. Good luck and welcome.

as far as the search function, i have better luck searching with google and it brings me right back here.
