I will cross my fingers for you, I put in the URD sleeve kit and it started chirping on me about a year later. Now I have the URD hydro bearing kit which they don't make any more as I'm sure you know. It's been very good.

Making progress with the RC62F. I am going to keep the OE fork and throw out bearing. I have found out that the pressure plate on the 2nd gen will not work the 3rd gen throw out bearing. The 3rd gen diameter is smaller. With the help of @BillDaCat8 we found out that the 3rd gen pressure plate will bolt up to the 2nd gen flywheel. From a previous post we know the clutch disk has the same specs.

There were also some 1GR's that used the smaller diameter release bearing, not that it matters since you can use the 2GR pressure plate, but 31210-60340 should work as well.

Since my release bearing has gone out. I got a seal kit before dropped the trans. after taking apart the bearing assembly, I can see the updated the seal for the kit. The seal in the unit is a square edged seal and the new one in the kit is round.
    Edit: pic and of damge

    My shit is all stock.
    Eight bolts. 90105-10294.

Tips. Have your flywheel machined by a shop that has an actual flywheel cutting machine. That step is .060” BTW. Make sure that is correct.

Honestly, I'm figuring to go LUK to minimalize downtime.
I am the third owner, truck has 180k now.
    thoughts?

I may have missed it. But if your talking luk clutch, I ran one when I first converted to manual with the URD sleeve. I got about 13-15k "if I recall" before it started make the cherping from the throw out bearing. I did not have the TSB repairs.
    Just some food for thought.

Well, what the hell else makes sense for a build sticking to OEM?
Machine the Fwheel, or a more expensive option? I assume the OEM Toyota Fwheel is Aisin?

I have a luk aftermarket flywheel. I would not stress it too much. I thought you were talking about clutches. Sorry that's my bad.

Hah! Thanks for the reply. Was sweating a bit, as the parts should all arrive by my date with the mech.
Aisin clutch, LUK Fwheel, URD TOB sleeve, slave-cylinder rebuild and carrier bearing.
I'd like to buy all new stainless hardware and gaskets for the exhaust that needs to be pulled to drop the trans - any clues on that?

For gaskets, just the exhaust gaskets at the the manifolds. If the donut gasket at the end of the y-pipe can be reused if it is still decent looking.
Bolts, I don't think you need to worry about stainless steel, even in high corrosive climates. The bolts to mount the trans to the engine are zinc coated. If the are showing signs of rust, just replace with factory. Well that's my thoughts on it.

1500km with the URD Sleeve kit and TSB parts. Still no chirping yet. Clutch feels like normal.

Doing some maintenance on the truck today, found this little present in my clutch res, metal shavings...

After about 20k miles rolling the dice with this hydrobearing looks like it’s finally on the way out. Guess I’m gonna have to drop this trans sooner rather than later

Sorry to hear about this. I hope you come up with a better solution.
