Did the rear brakes on the Subaru today. Raybestos 980634PER slotted rotors and Advics AD1114 pads.

Hmm. Definitely seems like a bushing. Would say lower control arm or even lower shock mount.

    +1 on what @tacoma16 said.

    Sounds like "dry rubber" rubbing.

Take a can of WD40 or any lube and hit where all your bushings are one by one (if your interested on which one it is) and even your sway bar bushings.

Then if that takes care of it hit them all with some better lube.

    Hey guys,

want to clean up the rust from the underside of the truck from all the scrapes, dings, and bangs from the last year or so. any recommendations of what i should pick up and use/do?
was thinking of getting a wire wheel/ wire brush to clear out anything that looks like rust, hit it with some brake cleaner to get rid of any residue, rust primer or self etching primer (i think self etch would be better?), and finish it off with some regular spray paint to try and protect it moving forward.

I've all but lost any hope for the hitch but would like to clean up the frame a bit.

Sounds good to me. I would even avoid spray paint and just buy a can of paint and brush it on. Goes on thicker and is cheaper. I find spray paint to lay down too thin and eventually just pit and rust.

biggest thing is just oil spray the truck every year. Helps a ton

This is also very important. Usually do the paint and stuff before oil spraying.

Been doing this just this weekend. What I've been doing is
    - wire brush if crusty
    - brake clean
    - brush on Rust Check corrosion inhibiting primer (2 coats)
    - top coat some black (only for asthetics if you care)
    - oil spray with corrosion free
