    Can someone explain what an Error 13 is on the new software? Or is there a list of errors associated with the new software?

    Had a friend get the code while using a VFC tune and it popped up.

    99.99% of the time that means they are trying to flash a file that doesn't match their ECU ID.

    Logistically, I know having two would be better for cooling them, but to unstrap and restrap them for each run would probably take longer, not sure if I'll have time for that.

    As for running another Tune file, PM me a file for 04B81, 31.6 tires, 3.90 gears. If I can fit in another one, happy to run it. Might have to wait till the next session tho.

    I would advise against swapping trucks on the dyno, strapping the vehicles takes time and also calibrating the tachometer takes time... for cooling purposes one or two giant fans works with no issues.

    Not to mention you can't compare results of 1 truck to another when comparing effectiveness of a tune.

    Compare all on same car, same day, same weather, is best.


    Ideally you would do 3 runs of each, so that the engine is good and hot by end of run 3 for each.

    Then compare.

    Same Car and Same Day is the plan. It's Austin, so "Same Weather" lasting for 2 hours is anyone's guess haha.

    what about when it’s the proper ecu id? Had that error happen to me while using a vfc file as well, all software was up to date

    If it is for sure same ECU ID, then likely the ECU just needs cycled.
    Start truck. Run for a min. Shut off. Try again

    We want to let everyone know that when 1.3.0 releases, some tables (naming, info, scaling, etc) will change. The purpose is to make the tables more accurate, easier to understand, etc.

    Some of the structures will change.

    For non pro users, some of the tables will be going away. (mostly development level stuff, nothing that you'll miss. 99.99% of the general population would never touch anyway).

    YES! The interface loads...then glitches and disappears (the tune dialog) and then it comes back. tuned success

    I was confused on calibarate ECM vs TCM for a second, but got it. Thanks
