I found that the 11/16 wrench that came with a die grinder was the perfect size to get on and hold the flats behind the control arm mount point. It was a pain to find the right tool to do it, but I really appreciated the wrench flats when I needed to remove the links to do control arm bushings.

I’ve been running these for several thousand miles and they’re showing no signs of wear so far.

This. I only buy genuine OEM replacement parts. Too expensive? Well, there are discount dealers out there. My complaint now is Toyota starting discontinuing the Gen1 parts awhile back.

The OEM ones suck in the rust belt. They need to be removed with a cutoff tool.

I sprayed it with PB blaster and used a powerdrill with a socket extension. You could try holding the inside/outside part of the bolt with an adjustable wrench while you try loosening the bolt

Had the same issues with the Moog end links. Had to take the wheel off to get a wrench jammed in there.

Why anyone would go through the trouble and hassle of swapping this crap out and then installing China crap that’s made out of our rusting bicycles, is beyond me.

Buy OEM, nothing compares to it. And it is absolutely not incredible more expensive.

How dare you disrespect your Tacoma with inferior parts.

Save the expense and headaches and remove the sway bar altogether.
My 3 link SAC doesn't have one and it's a DD.

Yeah, WTF. Who needs that shit. After all, the hundreds of millions of cars and trucks in the world that have them will more than make up for those who think they don't need them.

Who needs a sway bar... Who needs safety anyway...

Tons of cars were manufactured without sway bars.

Yes a sway bar adds some stability, but it's felt only at hard turns and at speed.

Myself, and many others though have removed our sway bar to no ill-effects.

Just don't drive like a moron, and you're good. You're making it sound like someone ripped out the brakes or something :burp:

Yeah, you might need one at a mall while making quick u-turns to pick up chicks...

You don't; you find the highest curb and drive one wheel up it to flex :muscleflexing:

Leave it there until your post gets enough followers

You know what. I am about to unleash years of pent-up frustration regarding sway-bar deletes. Get prepared for these paragraphs! :ohsnap:

Sway bars are like vaccines. The more other people have them, the less important it is for you have one.

rotated tires changed oil threw out the old air freshener.
When taking stuff off, I find the smoke wrench fits every size fastener, and gets those stuck nuts loose with little trouble.! ;-)
