Can anyone help me out here, quick tap into ac inverter, looks and feels like a good connection. Fogs won’t come on, yikes.

With a multimeter, verify continuity from metal of Tap to terminal.

Maybe the tap did not cut into the wire.

Yup, when I find the time today/tomorrow I am going to test. Given I used a 14-18awg tap, someone else mentioned stock wire gauge is 20-22awg so I have some smaller taps ready to go. Possible the larger tap did not strip the insulation completely.

Excellent! Tape the tap in place so it wiggles less.

Thanks for the write up! Since I didn't have the extra wiring from the seat heaters I used an add a circuit from the dome light fuse. If I can't remember to turn them off, I'll just use my jump pack.

Did this on my 2013 TRD O/R (TX Pro). It had the heated seats relay pre-wired, missing the relay (because I don’t have heated seats). Swapped the two wires in OP’s post, worked like a charm! I did manage to blow the fog lights 15a fuse in the process which had me retrying this like 3 times, but we’re good now!

Does anyone know if this works with fog lights that have backlights? Specifically, I’ve got the Diode Dynamics fog lights that have amber backlights when in daylight driving mode.

I just did this to my 2012 with the DDSS3 Pros with backlights and had no issues. I'll report back if I end up with any strange issues. I do not have a pump, so I swapped the blue/white wire with the black/red referenced earlier in the thread.
