Clazzio leather seat covers!

You have to cut the Clazzio's to install the back plastic backs. I used an acrylic paint pen to paint the plastic hooks on the cover to mark where I needed to cut the covers. Well to at least show me where they'll slide in. The metal rails are lower and you'll know what I'm talking about when you do this.

The photos are before I spent anytime adjusting for a tight nice photo fit btw.

 

Do you have the image file for that TRD Sport embroidery?

 

Yes, let me look for it. I have a copy of the file on my computer thatI sent to Logan at Clazzio.

 

These are the samples that I sent Logan at Clazzio. Was not sure what style I wanted other than the embroidery being all black.
Logan then used these samples and sent me a couple pictures of embroidery that he thought would look good on the headrests.
The final result was the picture of of my headrests that I posted.
I dealt with Logan one on one reviewing the samples he sent me. I found this to work out better than emailing back and forth.
Logan gave me his phone number and I can PM it to you if you like.
I am more than happy how the headrests turned out. My truck has the factory black leather and their leather was almost a perfect match. Looking at them installed I don't think anyone can tell they did not come with the truck.

Did anyone have trouble with the headrest clip constantly unclipping, and if so how did you fix it? TIA

 

I actually kneeled on the headrests to compress them then clipped them. All the headrests were a total pain but they look real nice when done.

 

Finally got around to installing my covers, got the scratched and bruised hands to prove it. Tedious and time consuming but the end result was well worth the price, financially and physically. I got the perforated leather, black with dark grey insert and dark green stitch to go with my spruce mica. The black and dark grey match the interior perfectly, and it's honestly the next best thing to factory leather seats, just have to put the work in to get it looking nice. and be careful when doing the lower cover, I had one of the cinch straps break on the drivers side from pulling it too tight. I ended up cutting a small slit in the vinyl and tying it and recinching but hated having to do that. overall pretty happy with my clazzios

 

I have a 2007 Double Cab with grey cloth interior and I can't decide to go with the dark gray or light gray? Anyone have this same yearish and color that might offer some advice? I want it to match a close as possible to the plastic trim around the seat material. Thanks!

 

I know the light gray is very light if that's what you're going for. This is black with dark gray insert.

 

No issues with leather in any of my cars, including Clazzios in my Tacoma.

 

Thank you, this looks exactly what I was wanting but some pictures seem to show the dark gray as almost black. I think I will go with the dark gray.

 

My set arrived this week. I got the black with dark gray leather inserts and red stitching plus custom TRD embroidery.

My semi-arthritic hands are already hurting so I didn’t finish the task today. I took it really slow because I wanted everything to be perfect. I was able to install the rear set, all the headrests, and the center armrest.

Man, these are excellent but what a PITA to install.

This would have to do until next weekend. LOL

what type of spray or brand are you all using to wipe down your Clazzio PVC covers?

 

Black leather. Dark gray inserts. Dark gray stitching and this

embroidered on the headrest. Truck is cement 2021 off road

8-12 weeks! Yikes.

my only hold up is deciding on dark gray or black insert. I’m afraid the dark gray (being relatively light) may stain.

has anyone had an issue with staining on the dark gray leather?

 

Like many of you, Toyota has a huge price package jump for leather that I did not need. I have 2 dogs that shed and the hair weaves its way into the fabric seats. vacuuming gets most of it , but I’m picking and lint rolling hair that the vacuum cant pull out. These seats should make my vacuuming much easier. Right???

I’ve tried the pet “hammock” style cover in the rear and it helps some, but the hair still escapes it. Save me some $ and tell me why these seat covers are not the answer to easier cleaning and better looks

 

I have “dark” grey Clazzios. They’ve been in my truck about 3 years. No discoloration, so far.

 

I had the exact same issue vacuuming and then pulling the hairs out of the fabric. These seat covers plus the pet hammock work great and make cleaning the hair a breeze. Sorry for not giving you the answer your looking for

 

So I've had my covers for a while and just haven't had the time to block off a day to install them but I'm going to this week. I can't find any of the instructions that may have come with them but the only thing I have a question about is the center console cover. Do you just detach the top of the console to get the cover on? It seems like that's what has to happen but I just wanted to double check.

 

I didn't detach the console cover. Just slip the front end over and pull snug towards the back. Its been about 12 months since my install but I didn't remove the cover.

 

Like Concrete taco, I didn't have to remove the center console cover.

1. Open the cover
2. Slip the front end over and pull snug towards the back
3. Close the cover
4. Pull and massage the back portion of the new cover downwards while making sure everything is aligned
5. Tighten the velcro
