I'm not mad at it. Throw on a lift, CMC, some 37s and you're in business.

    I went from a 2018 sport dclb to a 2020 OR dcsb.
I definitely miss being able to sleep comfortably in the back of the long box, but all I need to do is drop the tailgate and get a DAC tent and I'm covered. Yeah, I could fit some extra gear in the back of the lb, but a roof rack will fix that for me.
I'm having an easier time out in the bush with my sb, and I can actually park it in my garage now.

Theres pros and cons to each, and for my needs, the sb is what I needed.
And it looks much better. I found the lb to be.....stretchy. Like used saran wrap.

I’m pretty sure he’s full of shit and trying to just sell what inventory he has to work with. That’s really weird for him to say. I’m from Cali.

LB for the win. It just looks more normal with the body lines. Also it’s way more practical. SB for hardcore rock crawling. Lift and bigger tires LB>SB.

At first I was bummed that my dealer ship only had this long bed off road 4x4 (due to a customer canceling) tbh I didn’t notice at first until my friend aka the Salesman told me it was a long bed and I was like damn I kinda wanted the short bed look.. but if I wanted a short bed it would have taken 3-5 months to come in. Long story short I ended up getting it and loving it!! Now that I have it, maybe I’m being biased? but I feel like the short beds look too short lmao
Plus no on ever said “I wish I had a shorter bed”

Ive been looking for an TRD 4X4 with the premium package.I found this one but its a long bed.14,000 miles 2.5-2.75 lift from Toyota as to not affect the warranty or sensors I'm torn because Ive never owned a long bed but this is exactly what I'm looking for as far as the premium package.

So funny. So that also happened to you. I thought it could only happen to me ( senior moments on my part ).Long story short, I bought my 2017 taco thinking I got the short bed. Went to a eat all you can buffet with my family few hours after. Later, while walking toward my taco after the buffet, I was surprised I got the long bed. Was disappointed initially but was glad I made the mistake. We are able to sleep on the bed for camping. This is my second taco, I once had the 2011 trd sport long bed 10 years ago. Traded it after 3 years for the Fj .

A short bed will be easier to monouver but the long box will ride better and handle better on snowy roads

The toyota lift isn't 2.5-2.75" and that doesn't look like a the TRD lift from the pictures(hard to tell from those shots).
