This weekend had 2 projects done:

    1) Installed the @MESO sunroof hex rack. This was a bit more involved than I would care to admit. But a couple of points to consider/think on if you buy this item:

a)This is a solid item, however if you watch the sunroof rack installation video, it is emphasized several times about the jacknuts and being centered. Luckily, MESO includes some extra jacknuts (and screws). Had to redo two of those jacknuts. So when he says "center the jacknuts," do it. Very carefully. TAKE. YOUR. TIME. DOING. THIS. Seriously.

    b) Reinstalling the rear dome light can be a bit more tricky. At least in my experience. When watching the video, MESO mentions 4 small tabs that had to be popped out. Remember to pop those 4 tabs back in place or your light cover will not go back in. I had everything back in place, and light cover wouldn't go back in. An oversight, but don't forget that small thing.

    c) The grey housing the bulb sits can easily pop back out when putting the light back in. Mine popped out twice after I thought I hac everything good to go. Again, take your time.

    (See enclosed thumbnails)

    2) Got KDMax done this Sunday by @AbnMP13. All I can say is WOW! Makes quite the difference. Drove home on mostly 2 lane highways, but when I needed the truck to "get up and go," it got up and went. Obviously not gonna beat a Camaro off the line. But a little more "umph."

And a side note: has anyone else having slow responses from this website or is just me?

Lol! Sure, it’s the internet’s fault and not the aforementioned alcoholic drinks!
All part of a good time! Woodford Reserve is fueling this response right now!

Since there seems to have been a 80-90 % turnover in members who are viewing this thread in the last year I decided to share something I posted last Memorial Day. My apologies go to those who already saw it.
It is important to understand the true meaning of Memorial Day. After flying in the Navy for 20 years and having 15 mayday emergencies, engine fires, cabin fires, etc, etc I still came back alive. It is not about those of us who made it back alive. It is about those who made the ultimate sacrifice who did not return alive. It is about those who will never again be able to experience their dreams and aspirations. It is about those who will never again be able to laugh and cry in life. It is about those who will never again be able to hold their loved ones. They are the true heroes. Greater love has no one than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

Amen. One of the most humbling things I did during my 26 years in the Army occurred back in 1989 while I was assigned to the US Embassy, Tunis, Tunisia. I assisted in the Memorial Day wreath laying ceremony at the North Africa American Military Cemetery located in Sidi Bou Said, Tunisia that honors the fallen from the WWII North Africa Campaign. Humbling and inspiring all at once.

If you have time and interest, near the north Canyon rim is a spectacular hike called Coyote South. In October is easy to draw a hiking permit.

Thanks, that looks to be about as good as I could hope for. Now to research if it works with the TRD front skid…

Sorry, it’s this plastic piece. Which looking at the install video it looks like it’s not used with the molle.
