Odd. We have stuck with these colors for years, just finally being able to put them all together. These are all Valspar National Historical Society historic colors.

I’m trying to fix some things that don’t look so good and one is some wiring that was ran in an ugly way. There’s a small storage space on the back of the store that has this box in it, it’s been open like this as long as I can remember.




I put the meter on the black and ground and it had voltage. I flipped a couple breakers and it still had voltage so I got my welding gloves on and safety glasses and cut it to find the breaker it was on.





Turns out it was a 30 amp 220V breaker

I know it was the store But I am curious why you did not wait till later and open the Main breaker and disconnect and make safe the unused plug .

My luck I would have shorted that taking out a compressor circuit and the breaker failing .

 

Enjoyed today’s weather and my time with brother joe.... I’m sure you can only guess what we did today.... yes another tree had fallen across the creak. I’m starting to get tired of working in the water. Probably be a different story if it were 90 degrees! Cleaned the easier stuff up.... gotta tackle the rest of it once the water level lowers back to normal. You boys enjoy your evening

 

Yeah but that's how you make a stripper notch in lineman pliers that didn't come that way. Been there done that.

The other end is as far as I can get today. I’m give out and I need to get the 100 gallons of kerosene out of the tank and move it.

 

At the end of the day, you got rid of it; no idea what it was; maybe an old cooler or pump service? Regardless, it was DANGEROUS!
