2nd gen front bumper swap to 2.5 gen

$650 is low imo. The victory 1 is $900 before shipping & tax. Yours is the more desirable of the 2 & it’s now a relic unless they make another group buy batch. Shits worth $800+ in mint condition etc

 

Hmmm...maybe I will re-think that price then. I paid about $725 for it, but where are you gonna find another one??

I got a stingray and will be getting a bumper to see if it works, the mounts on the 2 vs 2.5 are the same so the only problem is cutting the bumper so it looks good

Looks good! Would be great to see some of the details on the swap, to my eye the gen 2.5 bumper has a better shape and is an improvement over the original bumper.

 

i took a soldering iron and melted the top of the 2nd gen to the bottom of the 2.5 gen so i could fit the stingray bumper. with the soldering iron i did lots of tack welds then melted zipties to fill in the extra, after that i did steel wool on the backside to reinforce it more and melted that in with it and then bondo on the front to smooth it out

Nope just used the same ones and a few zipties for the fender liners down low
