Saw a post from @DDD. Here’s my twist of his setup. Works great and I love how my truck looks without the topper.

Someone decided they wanted to decorate my truck with their cars paint. I wish I had gotten a dash cam months ago. And rock sliders, pretty sure those would have helped.

    letting insurance do it’s thing.

Have you noticed any increase in mileage?
Some people have reported faulty thermostats that never tell the ecu that the motor has reached normal operating temps. Effectively keeping the truck in warm up a/f ratios dumping unnecessary amount of fuel.. I'm just curious if you've noticed

You cut 2.5" off the steel fenders and 2" off the flares all around?

Installed a Bruteforce High Clearance rear bumper. Took my time and still finished in under a day. Real happy with how it turned out.

I picked up a Worthington 6lb propane tank a little while back, which fits my powertank mount pretty well. Since then I have been wanting to mount it to my swingout, which means no dual Jerry can holder. So i found a single jerry mount in my price range, and on sale for Memorial Day, and got free shipping. Honestly 10 gallons of fuel on the back is a little much, and i have a water system planned for inside my bed so this was a good move for me i think. I’m gonna hang on to the dual carrier just in case i change my mind.

I haven’t noticed anything unusual, only replacing because it’s convenient to do so while accessing/replacing the water pump and serpentine belt.

A little mod, plus I had a free time. Got an old retractable hood light from an older chevy from the junk yard and replaced the light with an led. Stuck in the engine bay and bam hardwired flashlight lol.

I recently done all of those things except the cat back. Changed plugs also. I have my truck loaded down for this trip I’m on and I’m getting better mileage than I ever have, also with the new cam gears. My normal operating temps were 195-198 and now I’m around 189-191.

Added a few easy things this weekend.

    60AAC761-5C4F-40D5-B49D-5C5AEE3011F0.jpg

Grab handles for the Prinsu. Used Jeep roll bar ones, don’t think I like them. Probably going to buy some Kayak handles that I can mount using bolts.

    5B3FB26C-EEDB-480B-836D-0BB43E247356.jpg

Prinsu standard (no cutout) fairing. Bought my Prinsu second hand and it had a light bar cutout one. Don’t plan on adding a lightbar one, so here we are.

    788E4142-79E4-42CF-A1E8-60A94C50E3C7.jpg

Lastly a Avid Tailgate Panel. Like the added strength, and no longer need to worry about bending my tailgate.

Looking good, so you’re aware prinsu makes a noise reducing edge trim that’s fairly cheap as well to go under the fairing. It basically ties it into the roof so there’s no wind getting under it.

I made a trip to home depot and loaded up the back with thiese large concrete wall blocks. something was scraping all the way home. i looked under the truck several times, but i didn't see anything rubbing the driveshaft. according to my calculations: about 2,000 lbs.
