its a 2020, bought it april of last year. Sold three of my motorcycles which funded all of my build.. It has been quite the adventure over the past year building it to the way I want for my needs. My truck has been/seen alot of transitions. I first had some KB bed bars with a tonneau cover. Then switched to a KB bed rack max, it was ok but I am up here in the PNW, tired of my shit getting wet so I bought a Alu-Cab canopy jake at @EvergreenOffroad got me into alu-cab. I sold my CVT shasta and bought a CVT mt hood , awning etc. Installed a 100w solar panel, grp 34 battery, dometic 45 fridge which has been running non stop for the past 4 months ( i like cold beer). Scored some sweet SCS ray 10s in blue and a few other goodies. It is very comfy and I am happy with it. I also cut into the bed to allow for a blue sea aux power panel. Alu-cab is very strong, well build. Max trax and winch all types of recovery gear as everyone should have. Rotopax as well. the 2.5 gallons are "OK" they work in a pinch but I would prefer a jerry can, just takes alot of space. Hope this helps or gives you some ideas/inspiration for your build

Did you house the backing at all to guard against debris/protect the wiring?

The wiring isnt exposed to brush,shrub, trees, its very tucked away. renogy makes a solid product. its enough to power all my needs and is budget friendly. If you do decide to get this PM me and I can help with guide/install
