    Did you have to revalve your rear shocks? If so what was it before and what is the valving now?

    You’re welcome for the ideas on how to do it :)

    and I’ve said it a bunch of times but leaf springs will always be more plush with the shackles pointing down... it allows the springs to move in a more natural arc

    Nope just turned in the long compression tube a little. 15/8 valving

    Do need to rebuild the rears though as they’re starting to leak a little. But wanted to wait to test run things before just in case I needed to revalve

    Yeah thanks for the inspiration. Didn’t think about it until you guys came up with your design. Then took note and some design parameters from a buddy that used to race leaf spring trucks and what a difference. The wife is happy and so am I

    Probably wouldn’t end well.


    Start saving your pennies. And plan on some time to tune things. I think I’m on my 3rd or 4th revalve for the front, 2nd on the rear and 2nd rear setup. But it’s fun and it’s worth it

    Just clocked 800 miles on the new setup. There are a few details to work out but overall very happy.

    Ran a couple of moderate technical trails along with some mid-speed fire roads. Want to make some valving changes but nothing too major.

    Unfortunately I don’t have any cool videos like @snowsk8air2 did.
